  1. To be honest, looking at a pride parade, I'd have thought it was all about sex, nudity, kinks, and fetishes. I'd love to see a pride parade where they just wear normal clothing, or maybe their professional uniform, or whatever clothing defines them as individuals and how they fit into society..........rather than g-strings and gimp suits.
  2. This is just baffling. On the one hand, they say genitals don't define gender (e.g. when a man can use the ladies changing rooms or toilets, "It's not a man's penis, it's a woman's penis.") Then, on the other hand, they prescribe gender affirming surgery which includes cutting off genitals.
  3. Uhm, no. Straight men don't sleep with men (dressed as women).
  4. How they gonna do that? Have a ladyboy bend over and spread his cheeks?
  5. It definitely gets lower. There are people who drive over crosswalks with pedestrians on them. Standard practice in Thailand.
  6. Yeah, I am not sure what age you need to be called uncle, but I think you're right. I lived in a village in my 30s and I wasn't old enough to be called uncle.
  7. It's weird. Who calls their partner uncle? It's usually what random village guys get called. It isn't disrespectful, but for your own partner it's a bit odd. It's like you're her male neighbor - that's what he'd be called.
  8. Rarely eat breakfast, but when I do it's the breakfast of champions
  9. Where to find the best fish chips in Bangkok? So far, I think it's the Red Lion. Any opinions?
  10. Turning a blind eye to your daughter doing sex work while pressuring her for money every month. That's another classic.
  11. Uhm, yes, parenting is a lot better in my country in general.
  12. Exactly, in India. I have it on good authority they get that in Japan, Korea, and Dubai, tho
  13. My favorite is: adult on motorcycle wearing a helmet; child no helmet.
  14. I just walked from Thonburi to Patpong. Just living my best life, guys.
  15. You so eloquently summed up rural Thailand in just a few words.
  16. Damn right On these kinds of roads, I do 100. And there is ALWAYS someone up my backside (inches away) and when they get passed me, they speed off at a minimum of 120.
  17. Your opinion of humans is too high. This is the tip of the iceberg.
  18. Why is it the do many human atrocities occur in the most beautiful natural scenic places?
  19. She sounds like she would be fun at parties.
  20. Exactly, I recently had a conversation with someone about how much to tip a Foodpanda driver. My logic was: I am paying 160 baht for two fried rices, including a delivery charge, so that's double what it would cost me to go get it myself. I think the driver should be on an acceptable salary if customers are paying double. I'd still leave a small tip on top of that. The person I was having this conversation with thought these drivers deserve bigger tips and said, "How do you know their boss pays them fairly?" I just couldn't get the logic. Like, if I'm paying double for my food and his boss isn't paying him fairly, then that's between them. I've paid enough.
