Did you give the bill to the owner and ask them to pay. Rabies injections for dogs are free at gov venues and very cheap so no excuse just a bad or lazy owner.

Dogs should get a rabies booster every year injection 6 or 7 years ago is no good now.

Thai Travel Agency Alleges Police Extortion of Chinese Tourists - video
andygrr replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Couldn't find the driver, how did they know which car to stop , not many people have that sort of money available. Inside job or what. Surely even if the Chinese tourists are too scared to make a report and the police can't do anything about the extortion charge the police should investigate the crime of impersonating a police officer. You would think they would have a vested interest in that, as it makes all police officers look bad. -
Foreigner and Thai woman get into heated argument on BTS (video)
andygrr replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The problem with video's like this are that they don't start when the arguments start. He said he asked politely first, maybe he did but was ignored so then got a bit pushy we will never know. -

If you look at the website for Oliver Twist hair you will see he does hair colouring in vibrant colours, this can get expensive so 4,000 is not expensive. Thai's in Bangkok will pay a lot more. -

Thailand Grapples with Growing Number of Foreign Beggars

They should make them file for tax 100K a month. That figure doesn't even surprise me. -
Tourism industry demands action amid 300-baht fee controversy
andygrr replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand News
Here's an idea why not levy a 500 baht fee for all tourists, and then let them enter National parks and other areas for the same nominal fees paid by Thai's, waiving the ridiculous Farang fees. -
Police break up network aiding foreigners to stay in Thailand
andygrr replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No there is not normally a problem setting them up. The problems arise at the end of the financial year was the company actually operating, were profits made and taxes paid. If a profit was made by the companies was she paying any tax on her 49% of 200+ companies. This is when these bogus companies come to light. -

A 'Pint' just isn't a real Pint in Thailand.
andygrr replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Blame the Americans and the European metric system for that. A pint was 20 fluid ounces until the Yanks decided they would make it 16oz same as a pound in weight, So about 450ml as opposed to 570ml. Then in the metric system a 1/2 litre became the EU pint equivalent. Luckily the Brits stayed with the REAL pint. -
Foreigner Assaults Phuket Tuk Tuk Driver Over Fare Disagreement
andygrr replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
No excuse for violence but the driver was defiantly trying to scam the guy. I'm sure if he had only paid 100 for a 400 baht fare the driver would have been demanding the other 300. If he was initially happy he must have been given either a 500 or 1000 baht note. -
Officials Concerned Over Potential Overcrowding in Pattaya and Phuket
andygrr replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Most of the tourists in Pattaya are Thai from Bangkok. As for traffic congestion most foreign tourists don't drive. -

I agree there is no excuse for being drunk in charge of any motor vehicle. But I would like to see the cctv before I hang him out to dry. 3 people on a motorcycle doing a U turn at 3.15 am I have had taxi bikes U turn in front of me without any warning . What religious thing could anyone be doing at that time. If he was drunk he is at fault 100%, but the actions of the taxi rider may well have been a factor and maybe he should also held to account.
