  1. I have found out that depression and anxiety are an unfamiliar word in the Thai vocabulary and knowledge and thus the help that is being offered.
  2. It has been made very clear over the years that Thailand borders are very porous like a sieve and if someone want to get in illegally, they can do that with ease which the job of those who supposed to keep the borders shut pretty hard against smugglers and criminals.
  3. I can't see it happening, no sane Buddhist orientated government will run the risk of legalizing the sex industry and therefore prostitution, the voters will not go for it, this is still a very much religious country that adhere to the Buddhist teaching.
  4. The emergency procedures call for the fuel to be dumped over a body of water or an uninhibited area but it seems that this was not the case in this story, what was the reason to around 4 times is probably to isolate the cause for the alarm.
  5. If an emergency was not declared that it was a minor issue, otherwise the pilot must dump fuel before commencing emergency procedures and landing.

Stories such as the above and others similar are part of everyday life where people, young and old engaged in crimes of all sorts and mainly in the drug trade that seems to be a very lucrative one, I can't imagine a society where there are no crimes, or drug dealings, and when you have those, and no matter how the police will try to manage and control crimes, you also will have victims, rightly or wrongly, the young will still die.

  20. Every Dick Tom and Harry in the goverment have lately been devising ways how to fleece travelers, first tourists now Thais and PR, no end to their scheming ways how to get more money from everyone.

  23. Yes, DHL and by post could be tricky but as a checked luggage it shouldn't be a problem.
