Just see at the airports. Pattaya. Bangkok, Phuket. Pattaya seems to me to be busier then pre Covid heavy traffic most of the day people every where even weekdays. And, the Chinese are not here just wait they want to escape from their country like never before. They will easily double the numbers next year haters will hate, but Thailand is on the top of the list for many travelers around the world.

US residents with Medicare and MediGap plan G
bkk6060 replied to Onerak's topic in Insurance in Thailand
They will tell you nothing or tell you it is not covered. Each plan one choices has different benefits and each plan should be investigated/called for the correct answer. -

I hope they raid all these clubs. Cesspools of drugs, prostitution, drunks, criminals and drug dealers/users. Shut them down! -
When does TM30 reset?
bkk6060 replied to Kalorymetr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I have lived in the same place in Pattaya for several years in and out many times always returning there and never did one. But, I recently sought a residence verification and they snagged me for no tm30. Had to wait a few hours as they were delaying others for the same. So, Chonburi seems to have a rule about this at least on the day I went. -
Thailand goes into battle against resurgent HIV/AIDS
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Sorry, you read the article linked to the thread SW 1%? According to the AIDS Epidemic Model, about 6,500 Thai nationals are likely to have contracted HIV last year. Of the new infections, 62 per cent will have come from unprotected male-to-male intercourse, 23 per cent from having sex with HIV-positive partners, 11 per cent from casual encounters, 3 per cent from sharing syringes and 1 per cent from encounters with sex workers. -
Was at BKK airport a few days ago at 6am the place was packed to the gills. The majority of the 100ś of millions of people in the world who have some money and have traveled, can well afford the price of a plane ticket. Inflation is worldwide and much less of an inconvenience here. As much as the bitter miopic negative folks hate this place, many people worldwide want to come here now. Lower prices then most places, infrastructure, geographic diversity, entertainment you cannot find in many countries, etc. I see 60 to 70%, would be tough to hit 80%. But, bottom line this place is on the rise big time the numbers will be increasing indefintely in the future.

New edict tightens controls on non-medical use of cannabis in Thailand
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There are already too many empty shops with many more opening daily. When the novelty wears off, only the addicted pot heads will be left sadly, not enough of them to keep all these shops in business. -

Is PTSD real or only weak people?
bkk6060 replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I think it is real, but it could be used like the disability retirements in law enforcement and fire fighting and the military in the U.S. They are at out of control levels and have been for several years. Many of these claims are do to lifestyle or job burnout, yet file false claims that it is work related. PTSD could be used in this way as another money grab. -

To avoid future infection with a hole in your mouth. To avoid other teeth from moving. To keep your bite on line. To avoid pain by chewing on exposed flesh. Probably other potential issues. I learned a long time ago not to be cheap with your mouth/teeth. The cheap way out is to pull the tooth. If this causes issues in the future an implant would probably be needed at around 50,000 b. I would get the crown.

Cabinet endorses withdrawal of controversial foreign land-ownership edict
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Of courses. They love it when you come and spend big money for a few weeks but in reality, they don't want you to stay and especially not own their precious land.- 40 replies

Cambodia is better than Thailand. Change my mind..?
bkk6060 replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Cambodia is a filthy 3rd world dump and a tremendous downgrade from a Thailand lifestyle. The perfect choice for those who can't afford a decent quality of life and mostly seek cheap rooms and beer. -
Anyone who wants to live like a loser bum can do it here.
