  1. Player Loans, another round ball game initiative, everyone does it better.....but instead AFL supremo invites the coaches for a dinner at what looked like his Toooooooorak home....

No 4 and 20's on the menu tonight fellas, or deeply charred snaggs, i suspect Quail in lemon sauce as entree ....mouth is watering shall leave it there....how how a humble game has evolved well at least at the dinner table...enjoy...

soccer is a boring disgusting unskilled, non contact game played by precious feminine men who cry and pretend to be hurt if thier shoes get dirty. It's not even a sport, it's a lullaby to put people to sleep.

  2. Derm talks Jack Steven, player loans and Pearce Hanley.

Dermott Brereton believes St. Kilda midfielder Jack Steven could be an outside chance of a shock Brownlow Medal this year, and has also proposed the introduction of a player loan system to the AFL and shared his thoughts on Pearce Hanley.

The former Hawthorn forward says that Stevens fantastic season could see the ball magnet pick up plenty of votes despite St. Kilda only having won six games so far in season 2016.

  3. Not a bad win.

The Nunawading Lions crashed back to earth in a big way on Saturday

As reported last week, it was looking like the Lions form was improving, only losing by 174-points to Coldstream in Round 10.

However, their biggest obstacle yet came on Saturday in the form of the undefeated, ladder leading Eagles of Ferntree Gully.

The Eagles did not show ANY MERCY as they piled on 50-goals and 14-behinds without conceding a single point. Not even a rushed behind.

If you cant be stuffed doing the maths that is a 314-point victory.

Itll be back to the drawing board for Nunawading this week as they prepare to face the Glen Waverley Hawks.

The Ferntree Gully boys were pretty up and about after the win. Well done fellas!

  4. If the project moves forward, PWO will definitely have revenue to feed ourselves, said its president, police Maj. Gen. Kraiboon Suadsong. As now we can no longer make money from fee to manage the pledging scheme for rice and other agricultural products.

Somehow I don't think the General is begging for a bowl of rice. The only people who are going to make money is the developers and not the poor farmers who will still be looking for their next meal.

  5. Disgusting waste of life. Everyone in authority at the school should be PUNISHED. Also the authorities should be held responsible. Hill people huh? poor Hill people do not have the money to send their kids to boarding school. Only Hill people from the Golden Triangle area would be able to afford to send their kids to boarding school. Maybe this is a reason for the weak pathetic action.

The school is a Christian run charity providing schooling for hill tribe children out of reach of traditional schools, they do not have to be rich, they have to be poor and geographically out of reach.

Christian run charity or not the school failed, and its owner's and staff should be dealt with.

Considering the amount of money available to the educational system ( Chiang Rai itself has several well funded, modern and well resourced government schools in the city), one wonders why even the most basic provision cannot be made for those from poor and remote areas.

But then they are from the Hill Tribes. They simply don't matter.

Of course, but my point was to counter the comment above, that poor hill tribe people do not have the money to send their kids to boarding school and that the fact that these hill tribe kid did get afforded a school does not mean they came from drug dealing families as lungnorn inferred.

The hill tribes neglect is political, they are refugees, for decades many were kept caged in for the crime of being persecuted in Myanmar, Thailand has a shameful record of refugee treatment.

according to Prayuth Thailand is being applauded by the U.N for the quality of its human rights.
  6. What luxury goods do Thailand export? I can't think of a single luxury thai product, all those OTOP things are hardly luxury.

Mercedes Benz, Thompson silk Thailand shipped out BT371bn ($11.2bn) worth of jewelry and accessories in 2015. Do you want me to continue or can you google?
My appologies didn't realise they were Thai companies and products. I stand corrected and duly shafted up the rear end with a hot soldering iron.
  7. He was sitting outside in uniform and said he had nothing to do with it. He said he wore an army uniform to give him a good image in his work selling food supplements.

    cheesy.gif

Extortion, racketeering, possession of weapons, carrying false ID, driving a car with false plates, possession of narcotics, impersonating a soldier...

I wonder what this does to the "good name of the army"??

small time stuff. At least they don't have an E-Cigarette.
  8. Hey Alex, just another average game from an average side to beat a below average team. Saints just opened up top spot for GWS. Saints the average side one game out of the 8 with Carlton, essendon, Melbourne, gold coast and Brisbane in the next games.

And no I didn't tip them this week.

Come on fella...`Saints heroes one week then garbage collectors the next 3, at least the Dees win or loose expect for the Essendon game put in week in week out.....

But you look pretty in the your jumpers i do give them fashion high five.

when your rabble can actually beat the saints, come am

nd criticise. I think the last time was in the 1900's.

1 flag in a zillion years.........and by a fluke kick near the end of a game against a club thats lost more premierships than won yeah...right I'm impressed, i will give credit where its due we do struggle against the Saints....but fella flags arnt won or lost during the home or away season against an average team...gees how many times you guys Finnish bottom during the 80s and 90s? just to remind you....its 12 to 1.

ps.... i only dislike with a vengeance one team and thats the Bombers but again i will give credit where its due and that is when there backs to the wall they can produce which hasn't been the case with the Dee's, the only difference between the Saints, Bulldogs, Swans of the past, North of the past is that we when we get strong bag 2 and 3 cups on the trott.

Carry on all you like mr but your only as good as the last premiership you won and were both in a retirement village.

You have to stop living in the past and live for now.
