Sounds like Leicester City is a good thai team and promoting them might be a good idea if it is bringing in tourism.

Actually it is up to the authorities to prove guilt and not the accused to prove innocence. He should have the courage to be interviewed tho if he is seen as Luang Por. A good father sets examples for his children.

A political gathering of less than 5 I presume. Thais can take heart from this lady and understand that the people can overcome an oppressive military regime. Thailand is where Burma once was, Burma has evolved and moved on from the dark ages and will prosper leaving Thailand to be flushed away unless it learns from Myanmar
-
His joking right? Luang por or Phra Dhammachayo is the guiding light for the people of the world? He has to be kidding or he is a complete numbskull. He may be a guiding light for the thieves, fraudsters, money launderers, liars and other assorted criminals but definately not the rest of the world.

It was tourists being blamed for all the garbage a few months ago. If the infrastructure can't cope with the tourist numbers then cut back on the numbers. Forget about counting the baht and think about the environment. If it isn't sustainable there won't be a single satang to count.

Part of my wife's permanent residency requirement she must attend a minimum of 10 hours English classes. She reads and writes English fluently. There is no English requirement in Australia to gain permanent residency. Plenty of Thais live permanently in Australia with minimal English skills. They get medicare, the dole, old age pensions and all the other benefits of citizenship. There is a multiple choice written test to gain citizenship, but there is a set number of questions and they can be memorised without too many problems. The test can be taken as often as needed to pass. English is not a prerequisite to a fulfilling life in Australia for a Thai person.
Why is Thailand so strict in its residency requirements (6th grade level Thai oral and written skills, minimum job/salary/tax requirements etc)? I guess it is because Australia is a multi-cultural country whereas Thailand is more xenophobic.

Australia insists that people learn to speak English. My wife actually speaks English very well but as part of her permanent residency requirements she must attend a minimum of 10 hours of English classes per week. The government provides the classes free and actually pays her travelling costs and an allowance of $380 a fortnight. As she reads and writes English fluently having obtained her accounting degree in Aust many years ago she says it's money for nothing. She works full time for an Aussie accounting firm and gets study leave.

Paween resides out in the Niddrie area of Melbourne and frequents our friends restuarant, also a former Thai police officer from Chiangmai. Yes Paween has spoken of current powerful cluster people in power at the moment who are heavily involved in corruption and crime.
BS. Where is your proof?Wilsonadn son, The Armyu general fled to Aus and spile dthe neans naming a LOT OF OWERFUL and vested interest in Thialand. He is now under UN protection and its all blacked out here.
Not in Australia though or overseas.
And he named a LOT of people here and would be charged with lese majeste if he returns.
Not a policeman. General and he named our lovely Chan Ocha as a cuplrit
However the thai Chan Ocha does not think it matters as Thailand does not need anyone else now
Links?
Marcusd stay off the kool aid.

I dropped to 12th but climbing back up over the last 2 weeksFive 5 Tipsters shared the honors this week with a full boot of 6/6. Joboss had the closest margin of the 5!
Joboss
Bigwazz
Chooka
RIpstanley
Radar501
AlexRRR and Myself are still out front on 84 points, with Ron19 snaapping at our heels on 83. We then have 5 tipsters on 82 points.
Its a tight race with 10 Tipsters able to go the front of the pack with a 9/9 on any given full week...Tipsters at 77 and below might need to start considering some left field selections

Tourist dying from condo falls for 20+ years. If 30 plus tourists were dying in Australia every year Procedures would be put in place, ie minimum railing levels or security screens, they wouldn't be sitting back after 20 years and say <deleted>, I'm buggered and have no idea to prevent these tragedies.

I wonder if there is another name for a military junta that chases down and rounds up those that have different opinions and thoughts, those that don't conform and follow strict directions of the military on how to live thier lives and what to think and say.
-
I find this just a little tacky as it comes across as a publicity stunt for Thailand and a photo opportunity. Congratulations on behalf of Thailand I would like to present you with the winners cheque for 100K, Aunty Edna played thai tourism roulette and achieved death. Can just see them framing this and putting it up on the wall above the ashes.
Sure compensate the families but do it properly and not with a paltry meagre insulting sum during a Thai tourism publicity stunt.
-
Ok thanks for coming, you no understand thai and thai way is better.
-
Sounds like someone is concerned about a coup. This from a Junta who bared it's naked rear end at everything it is now trying to preach.
-
The initiatives they have implemented that were to dramatically reduce crime against tourists don't seem to be working. The tourist courts and the one stop system of victims reporting crimes at 7/11 instead of to police seems to be a fizzer.

Why would he confess to the Thai police for an alleged murder in Switzerland? What a moron or wasn't he given his rights, ie he is allowed to keep his mouth shut and entitled to a solicitor. Is Thailand trying to jeopardise the case by forcing a confession from him?
-
Another one. There was a Dutch guy arrested last week also for a murder in Switzerland
-
Had no problem arresting those monks who sat down for a refreshing drink after a hard days wailing.
-
Numbers continue to climb. Need more hotels fast, start building people a bloody quickly.
-
So his marriage is just a cover. The guy is a fake, why not just come out a say I'm a homosexual and not hide behind the marriage thing. He acts gay and I think most people knew he was gay so hiding behind the herto marriage thing isn't fair on his children.

Prostitution is ilegal in Thailand so if you pay for sex using your card yo deserve to be prosecuted.

How is it true? Has Johnie actually met colinneil and actually know he is unhappy living in Thailand or is he making an unfounded assumption? The old you are not happy in Thailand or if you don't like it leave is not an argument, it's a lazy comment that contributes zero to a discussion. When Ugg said to Shrug, Your wheel won't turn because it has corners shrug didn't say, if you don't like it leave, they discussed it and the problem was fixed. Many have moved on and advanced from the cave man attitude.
But what Johnniey said was true too
I know you are unhappy living in this country and have a go at everything Thai when given the chance but please just stop and use your brain before posting rubbish like this.Arrest warrants issued
Come fly with me lets fly fly away.
Again authorities given wrong doers time to flee.
Why do Thai authorities give wrong doers warning???
But it's true what he's saying.

But we can control your thoughts and opinions by arresting you and adjusting your attitude to ensure your thoughts are in tune with the junta and the love and admiration flows only for the dear leader.
