Guess it wasn't paved with gold and all those stories of free homes, cars, money and everything you ever wished for weren't true after all. Have to go home and work for a living.

What's happened to the tigers at the chiangmai night safari? Told they have all gone

Get arrested and defrocked for having a whiskey but if you steal millions you are protected and untouchable.

I amWithout prostitution Thailand would easily lose 50% of Tourists.
People who deny this are just liars and/or ignorant.
But it's all about appearances and saving face.
Sorry, I thought you meant 50% of losers.
Are you one of the 99.99% of foreigners here that HASN'T been with a prostitute?
<sarcasm>
-
This is really going to hurt Thailand's reputation. Prostitution is ilegal in Thailand and for years they have denied it's existence in the land. Their human trafficking reputation may take another hit also.

500k reward, well we know who always gets that.

I wouldn't want it. Who in thier right mind would want to spend time at lunch with one of Prayuth's numnut goons. The Junta is a circus and they're all clowns.I want Benjamin's job!
How long and how good would the lunch have been to come up with absolutely nothing?

So let's go after those that question or don't bow down to the draft constitution.

Another day and more dead tourists in Thailand. They seem to think there is an endless supply of tourists and if a few get killed each day then no problem the baht is still coming in. Tourists are just a disposable commodity to thais and don't have any real value whilst there is an endless pit.

saints certainly developed a few hard nuts there. Some interesting stats....
Grinter had a career 31 games suspended
Barry Hall had 28 games suspended
Tony Lockett 23 games suspended
Robert Muir St kilda - 42 weeks total

OMG a vegan. What about all the animals getting slaughtered for feeding 140 tigers ? Far worse than killing a few carnivors & their cubs.
-
probably sold to China to ensure the china/thai rail project still goes ahead. If the temple was involved in the trade of supplying tiger parts then now that its been shut down, what are the implications for the remaining wild tigers (approx. 200) in Thailand?
-
I think it's pretty much, never trust a thai in anything. If I can't trust the Thai monks and I can't trust the police, nor the tuk-tuk drivers, nor the junta - then who did the Minister want me to trust when he proclaimed the new tourism slogan "trust me, we are Thai"?

Feed the monks alive to the tigers

http://www.3aw.com.au/news/soccer-fans-set-off-flares-in-melbournes-cbd-last-night-20160607-gpdywo.html
Don't need a break from football. How about those bloody soccer fans rioting in the Melbourne CBD last night, when are they going to ban this violent nasty game. For a mid week break from the football.
Boxing nostalgia. Jeff Fenech v Azumah Nelson.
Great contest, good commentary.

Tom Hawkins should not be in any danger of receiving a two-match suspension for a very tame left jab to the chin of Phil Davis after they tangled with each other on the weekend, says Tim Watson.

Someone better get over there and get the lottery numbers quick.

Looks like Somchia has been giving his pigs a little loving.
-
Can't really blame them, they know nothing of the outside world.
-
What action actually has been taken against these officers? A transfer isn't action for such an offence. I recall the government media release saying officers had been arrested but no names or photo ops with these mysterious villains. We have seen a few photos of Somchia and burmese smiling with officers. Small time people hired to drive a vehicle. We have seen people arrested for speaking out against human trafficking. Giving people a voice to speak out will be a powerful tool to fighting human trafficking. Keeping everything silent and having people afraid to mention it isn't going to help progress.
-
Not legally recognised, just like the military junta outside Thailand except by a couple of dictatorships and a communist country.
Must not go against the referendum law or members will be arrested. I guess that means if they identify or mention any junta members or supporters being corrupt they will be in a huge pile of poop.

Great job by the city engineers, planning and permits office. Surely they knew what the land was like before granting a building permit and what did the inspectors do during the construction inspections? Isn't a hotel or business required to have public liability insurance? If they did have insurance how on earth did they get it if the building didn't comply with building codes?

It would be best if the handed out pamphlets at travel agencies before you booked a holiday. Maybe when you arrive and before check in you can call ad say stuff this dive wasn't on the brochureI needed a good laugh. Do you call before of after you check out?
