The island is still ‘deathly quiet’ - that said, the Sandbox was never intended to reinvigorate tourism, it was intended to ‘test’ if foreign arrivals could enter Thailand without bringing in and spreading Covid-19, to that extend the test is successful. 

Now that they have demonstrated that foreign arrivals do NOT bring nor spread Covid-19,  why do the authorities not open the country up  ?

If the latter, we could use one here. So much rice and corn detritus burned in the fields, 'Garden' waste burned at the side of the road, or left to spread around the place. Not that that can be called waste, or course, just noting that the waste can be burned in a proper waste incinerator, electricity generated and emissions cleaned. The wife's 2 unused rai at the back of us are available, as are the 3 unused rai down the road...

My life has got easier since my province opened a new immigration office in the city 45 minutes away, but these were the things some of us have faced in the past at immigration offices.

Why not spend a few minutes checking that ALL your paperwork is CORRECT  with no possible tiny points which the eagle-eyed IO  might spot

and thus save yourself a day doing it again !    You KNOW that some officers specialise in finding a flaw to trap you with.  Just keep one step ahead.

Falsity - Defamation law will only consider statements defamatory if they are, in fact, false. A true statement is not considered defamation. Additionally, because of their nature, statements of opinion are not considered false because they are subjective to the speaker.

This is the way it goes in farang-land - but don't Thais have a different law - if the statement causes loss (or face or money) then it is defamation. It does not matter whether it is true or false.
