  1. We could accurately say, nobody voted for her at the presidential level. She quit the primaries in 2020 before a single vote was cast. She was installed this year as nominee without a single vote cast.
  2. The polling suggests otherwise. It is within 0.2% now. But don't let the facts get in the way of your feelings. Nor let them get in the way of your ad hom attacks against the man who will be your President-elect in a couple of weeks.
  3. Wow, he did it all by himself, in an effort to make the BLM protesters look bad? What a hero... ...or was he part of a larger group of protesters that did the deed? ...no word on the 2000 officers injured, or is that part of your claim just being memory holed?
  4. Your recall is flawed. The Third Precinct police station in Minneapolis was overrun and burned by BLM protestors. One of more than 200 businesses in that city alone that were torched. More than 2000 police injured in total during the riots. https://www.wdrb.com/news/national/police-chief-association-releases-number-of-officers-injured-nationwide-during-violent-protests/article_db673920-34ab-11eb-9431-a3e24704f86a.html
  5. Trump largely used executive orders to stem the flow at the border. Then went to Congress for longer lasting solutions. Biden/Harris rescinded those executive orders, then faffed about for 3 years. The "bipartisan bill" she is touting had little to do with the southern border and a LOT to do with funding the Ukraine war. Three times the money in fact- $60 billion for Ukraine and less than $20 billion for the border. But, Biden could have easily reinstated the Trump era border controls with a stroke of his pen.
  6. The same sleazy article in The Atlantic tried to libel Trump by making him look racist and cheap, complaining about the funeral costs for a Mexican-American service member. Here is the truth, a response to The Atlantic directly from the sister of the deceased soldier; “Wow. I don’t appreciate how you are exploiting my sister’s death for politics — hurtful & disrespectful to the important changes she made for service members. President Donald Trump did nothing but show respect to my family & Vanessa. " The translator who attended the meeting between Trump and the family said; “I was at President Trump’s meeting with the Guillén family because I assisted with translation that day. President Trump was genuinely concerned about Vanessa Guillén and appalled by the tragedy the Guillén Family were enduring.” https://thefederalist.com/2024/10/22/sister-of-deceased-soldier-blasts-the-atlantic-for-latest-anti-trump-fabrications/
  7. You can tell from her voice when she is lying. The stress makes her pitch much higher and almost crack at times. She would be a terrible negotiator or poker player.
  8. It's all they have left. Their final message to the voters is "I'm not Trump". And given the state of the polls it isn't working. Harris up by just 0.2% nationally according to RCP, and losing every swing state. And the trend is ever downward.
  9. As you said yourself, "most people do care, the only ones who don't are cultists". That is by definition a binary. Now, you are right that there are fringe idiots on both sides. No question. But there are ALSO reasonable people on both sides- people who can have good faith disagreements over policy and the direction of the country. That sounds a lot different from your first position. As to those who used to serve under Trump and now are recanting, that is possibly one of the strongest arguments the Democrats have. To answer, I would say the following. Some are disgruntled Washington insiders who did not like being sidelined. Some are doing it for attention- a former GOP loyalist gets lots of gigs on TV and in the media. Some got fired and are butt-hurt. And some are indeed doing it out of principle. Again, there are a variety of reasons. Not sure of what damage Trump did to the US that you allude to. As far as I can remember, the economy was humming along in the pre-covid days. No new wars started. Factory jobs were coming back. What is the damage you speak of?
  10. ...and that attitude is why Harris will lose the election. Your simple binary view of either being a person that cares or a cultist actually shows who is trully 'ignorant of facts'.
  11. Not really. Most people know and dont care. They judge the record Trump had as president against his personal faults and make the educated decision to vote for him anyway. Calling voters gullible or ignorant is not a winning strategy, as Democrats are about to find out.
  12. "The Atlantic" and "factual" are not usually part of the same sentence. Plus your childish personal attacks on the next President are rather embarrassing. For you.
  13. Yes, and I am sure you can easily provide evidence of all those nonsensical claims, right?
  14. Only if you are lucky. It is a sign that you are important if the Great Orange Leader deigns to put you in one of his camps.
  15. Heart attack due to over exertion. Either chasing after pretty girls, or running away from ladyboys.
  16. Only in your fevered nightmares. But sadly, you are not important enough to bother rouinding up in the Great Pogrom.
  17. Ah, The Atlantic. Paragon of unbiased reporting. Coincidentally, owned by one of Kamala's biggest donors. Article from General Kelly, who was fired by Trump. It seems obvious that the Harris campaign is in free fall. Their closing argument is "Orange Man bad!". Nothing about how they will help Americans. Next.
  18. This is also where lefties can put their money where their collective mouths are. They can support charities that would help women in those situations, they can lobby to change their state laws, etc. But my point was not abortion in particular. It was an example of where the GOP is becoming more of a 'big tent' party, while the Democrats expect lockstep compliance.
  19. These vacuous attempts to "understand" the mind of GOP voters are rather sad. There really is no attempt to do anything other than disparage and sneer. Also note that is is the left that demands absolute loyalty and agreement with their agenda. Example: abortion. The GOP includes pro-life, pro-choice, and many shades in between. All are welcome as long as they are sincere in their beliefs and willing to engage in an honest conversation. The Democrats? Name me a pro-life Democrat. And this is why the left is losing, and will lose in 2 weeks.
  20. Interesting you bring that up. NYC is now contracting an additional 14,000 hotel rooms to house the illegals still coming into the city. That is on top of the 15,000 rooms currently being used. Screw the native homeless or poor veterans, the illegals take priority. The city would rather pay upwards of $400 per family per day on the Biden\Harris administration's folly.
  21. Yes, interesting. Suddenly everyone on the left has a degree in Behavioral Psychology or Geriatric Medicine. Funny how they didnt deploy those credentials in the past 3 years...
  22. That is because minimum wage laws tend to create unemployment. Witness California. The minimum wage went up, thousands of workers lost their jobs. The labour market can determine the appropriate pay far better than the government.
  23. ...and this is why the Democrats will lose the election. Too much of the personal attack and not enough policy. The American people think the country is heading the wrong direction, by a large majority. And hectoring them about one of the presidential candidates won't convince them otherwise. Harris started her campaign with a message of "joy". I can see little joy left on the left. The recriminations and finger pointing have already started. Meanwhile, Trump is having a blast working the fryer at McUgly's and talking with normal Americans.
  24. Fair question. I think a combination of Covid, fear, desire to be comforted by 'normal' as represented by Biden.
  25. Ah yes. The all-important Cheney family endorsement. Dick Cheney emergening as the darling of the Democrats. I think Trump can do well without them.
