The 90 day counting still resets after leaving and returning to the country, regardless of whether there was a late report before leaving. Is that right? However, the late report stays on file and may be noticed later by an Immigration Officer who could apply the fine.

The old system worked ok for me. The new system has never been approved. I haven’t done any since before June 2022 (most recent visa) As I’ve been flying in an out a lot.

And is checking out if the country at airport Immigration the same as doing the report at the local immigration office.

I’ve done online previously in 2022 before the current year’s visa. It was always hit and miss.

I tried an online report. It was not approved. From what i can figure out, Exiting and re-entering resets the 90 day period, but it could still incur a fine for the 6 days. I just want to make sure those 6 days won’t be 60 days late, even though I’ve been outside of Thailand.

This is incorrect. The notification email from online 90 day reporting has now arrived and the online application was not approved. There are mentions online of a seven day grace period. Does this include leaving the country during the seven day period after 90 days. The 90 day reporting clock restarts when someone re-enters the country. So, For example , could someone leave on day 96, within the seven day grace period, and then have the clock reset when returning. would those six late days be liable for a fine?

I did this online and it looks like it was successful. The PDF was sent almost immediately after. There was no rejection email so looks like this was successful.

My money would be on them spotting it at Chaeng Wattana, especially in the current climate!
