Another Thai with their head in the sand who believes their little kingdom is the centre of the earth and who hates being told otherwise. The truth is that Thailand will be a semi-developed dump for another few decades at least.

Passengers having their legs chopped off by the travelators and fliers smuggling live animals onto planes probably doesn't help.
Those things and the multi-billion dollars of corruption that goes hand-in-hand with state-run airports in Thailand.

Thai cops overpowered by a bunch of screeching men in frocks. Typical of the pathetic native police as soon as they're faced with the slightest conflict instead of having their boots licked while being handed cash.

About 15 years ago (just a guess) a foreigner was appointed to the board of directors. The man had achieved Thai citizenship many years beforehand, had an impressive work achievement managerial record and could read/write speak Thai language same as a Thai national.
First meeting, many Thai members of the board of directors refused to be seated and made it very clear they refused to work with a foreigner and they refused to accept that he had Thai citizenship, had worked in LOS is snr. positions for a couple of decades with impressive results / performance ratings. He was 'let go'.
Ordinarily it would take a generation or two before the country changes. The current graduates who are reasonably intelligent and open minded would replace those in senior positions in all walks of life.
But in Thailand, the army and police are given the best jobs in any influential positions. Usually because they bribe their way up the ladder. Everything in Thailand for the last 70 years has been about the army retaining power.
Move Forward knew this and it's why they wanted to reduce the power of the military.

Why doesn't she report it to the police and not social media?

Which is partly why (IMO) Emirates is so successful. Everything this thread says about Thai can be turned 180 degrees when discussing Emirates.
Emirates is helped by the low fuel costs in the UAE but regardless of that, they are still an amazing airline. They have a decent air miles program and website that's easy to use. Thai air miles are a joke, just like Bangkok Air. Spend a million baht and we *might* give you a free bag of nuts.

Nothing will change until a Westerner with an executive level career in the aviation industry is hired at Thai Air and AOT. Not some room IQ army generals or do-nothing Thais who've paid for promotions.

How can they 'allegedly' be seen doing it. The video is pretty clear.

This lawyer should start a political party called Move Backwards, with a policy to slowly reverse time to the Ayutthaya period, wear silk sarongs and go to war with Burma riding on war elephants. It will actually be popular with a lot of Thais.

Three hours will be enough to check in, go through security and passport control and have a coffee before the flight.

Pita is a threat to the establishmen-archy. They will show no mercy.
But they will do it in the typically two-faced cowardly Thai way and appear to kindly smile while plotting to seal his fate.

It's too Thai-centric to be considered an international sport. Plus it's dull AF.

They are able to but unwilling to. It would require time, money and effort to tackle the problem. Plus it would cause higher costs for big agribusiness and ultimately the consumer.
Every problem in Thailand , literally every one of them, comes down to laziness and greed.

Perhaps with Thailand's cannabis shops, ladyboys, goo bars, beer, all-night parties, endemic corruption and simple-minded populace, they didn't think they were doing much wrong by sunbathing on a patch of grass.

In other words, large Chinese tour groups are no longer visiting Thailand.

A lot of people commentating here are forgetting the basics of law in a civilized society: innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The very first thing to determine is if you have a visa or an extension.
One year visa

When employment with a Thai company ends, they will cancel the work permit with the labor department and the non-b work visa will come to an end.
How many days before the cancellations takes effect?
How long must the holder wait before they can change to a new visa?

Majority of 12,000 Thais in Dubai are working illegally – Thai consul general
in Thailand News

They're not 'lured'. They go there willingly and knowing it's illegal because - surprise surprise - they want to earn more money.
I have no sympathy with them and when Abdul starts treating them bad, it should not be the responsibility of the Thai Embassy and the taxpayer to bring them home.
