Or how Thailand propped up the Khmer Rouge, gave sanctuary to its leaders, and then pocketed tens of millions of dollars in foreign aid that was supposed to be going into rebuilding Cambodia when the regime fell. More recently, they have been financing the Junta in Burma. Ordinary Thais = lovely, if somewhat simple, people. The country's rulers = vermin.
