You wouldn't even need the extension on the visa exempt, the way it would work: Get a Thailand Pass and just jump on a plane and arrive visa exempt - stamped in for 30 days With at least 15 days left, apply to convert your visa exempt entry into a Non O (gives you 90 days and costs 2000 Bht) - must meet the financial requirements on the day you apply, in your case no issue as you already have the money in a Thai bank (hence you won't need the extension mentioned) After 2 months "seeding" (i.e. having the money in the bank), apply for an extension based on retirement (gives you 12 months and costs 1900 Bht) - given your money's already been there for ages, not quite sure how they would handle the seeding requirement, maybe you'd be able to fast-track the process but no point wasting the 3 months you have already paid for IMO Then your back into the routine you used to be before Covid; 90 day reports, reentry permit if you travel outside, annual extension.

There's nothing to "get". Citizens of certain nations can arrive without a visa and allowed entry for 30 days (with the ability to extend a further 30 days without leaving). You mentioned being in the UK therefore, you are eligible - assuming you are a Brit and not just happening to live/visiting there of course.

There are people claiming the bodies natural immune system is better than any vaccine and using it as an argument to not get vaccinated, there are people claiming that you'll have better protection if you catch covid (ignoring the small issue it could be terminal or have long lasting detrimental consequences) than if vaccinated and using that as an argument against vaccines. Those people also tend to be members of the same cohort that point to infection rates "in exceptionally well-vaccinated places like Israel, Malta and Vermont, Singapore, and others" to claim vaccines aren't really working to help get on top of the situation and they also tend to quote figures and graphs out of context they believe support their side of the debate. My question to you was, given the figures you chose to highlight from the study "In this group of sick people, 86% of sick hospitalized people are vaccinated without previous Covid, and only 14% are unvaccinated who had Covid before." (which on the face of it looks quite shocking) which side of the natural immunity v vaccines debate do you think those figures support?

Not too early but you have plenty of time, I'd give it a few days, give them time to squash the bugs. -
Thailand Pass helps streamline international arrivals
Salerno replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I've only had to work directly with one German company on a tech project and have to say I was genuinely extremely surprised at how bad their software was and the amount of BS they kept spouting to the powers that be that didn't have the knowledge to call them on it. Before people pounce, I don't believe, nor am I suggesting, this outlier in any way reflects German companies as a whole, -

Allegedly the site was developed by a German company. How true that is I can't comment on: -

Nobody should be "locked down" (unless there's a raging outbreak threatening to overwhelm the health sector) but everybody should recognise that actions (or more accurately in this context, non action) have consequences. Don't get jabbed, fine, your choice ... but don't bitch about the ramifications of your choice.

Still lost me. I assume your talking about 72 hours for the CPR results - you don't submit that anywhere, you show it at the airport. -

Probably would get away with it (fake address that is), but I'd just put the address I was staying at when applying. -
