Going from 38 to 35 is now the definition of “Surging”? Back in 2013 it was 28 to $1 USD. If it went back to that level then I would say “surging and boom, boom”.
And goodbye

Ya depends if the family wants to "show off" invite the whole village for 3 or 4 days and provide food and drink 2 or 3 times a day can run over 100k easily.
That's exactly what happened for my wife's father recently.
3 days of visits by the monks, continual food and drink.
All done very respectfully

I'm half way through season 1 of North Sea Connection. Set in Ireland, it's about local inhabitants who are coerced by a European drug cartel to smuggle meth into Ireland via the west coast. Pretty good so far and worth a look IMHO. I got it from TGx. I think this has already been recommended by @sanuk711 some time ago.
Good series, hoping there will be a second season

Not too hard to work out. It’s called tactics, to try to get the ref to call a foul, but is thankfully less an issue nowadays with VAR etc. Anyway, dignity and ice hockey? Isn’t that the hobby where they fight every 5 minutes and dressed up in so much foam that you could drop off a cliff and not be hurt? ????
You haven't been watching De Bruyne recently

How blessed is a Thai listener not having to cringe every time he hears "cup" pronounced as "coop" (plus all uses of "u" that become "oo". Country becomes "coontry" and so on.)
Unfortunately the whole of UK tv is full of presenters who cannot pronounce the King's English.
And sorry but female sports commentators are making the sports unlistenable.

Our group has been playing there regularly for what I consider a still overpriced Sport Day rate of 1280.
Apparently now the Priviledge Card (pre-paid) is invalid and they now ask 3580 baht,
So what are the improvements made since last week to justify an almost 200% increase ?
Really cannot believe anyone thinks it any kind of value
Very quick to take your money but disgusting that they don't mention that any privilege cards could be deemed useless overnight.
Hopefully they will refund for the outstanding unuseable period --- I would start by asking for a full refund.

I've noticed a spike of Russians in Jomtien recently. Nothing like the old days, but noticeable. The majority looked like young and middle aged men alone or in groups that I took to probably be mobilization refugees. In other words I didn't get a holiday vibe but more of a freaked out vibe. But also some families that may also be refugees.
Very likely true.
But what happens when their "holiday" or money finishes ??
Would Thailand accept them as asylum seekers ?

this was inevitable I guess but I won't be going back in a hurry. I'm glad I got to see it in the late '90s when Soi Green Mango was a muddy, potholed mess ????
Was there in the mid 90;s. Only beach huts and a few bars in those days

Sterling is a basket case, (both the useless England forward and the GB's currency)! ????
In terms of the currency versionit will be much worse by Spring 2023 as UK now managed by a Quasi chancellor and a PM who is solely looking after the 88,114 tory party members who voted her into #10.
Expect to see $1USD = £1.10 at best in the next 6 months.
1.05 already

Surely such authority should be enough for mortals like you and I.
Yes, the caretaker has decreed what the rate should be. Just an opinion, not manipulation
