Few basic photocopies of passport . ID page . Last entry stamp etc. TM7
He also may require a TM30
TM30 will be a problem. Staying in family home in wife's name but she is not in Thailand

My neighbour is currently on a 45 day exemption, he is now planning to stay a little longer so will need to extend by 30 days.
I understand that he will need a TM7 form and 1 photo, and passport copies plus the 1900 baht fee.
Is there anything else ??
This will be at Jomtien.
Thanks

Telephone them. ????
The Future Pensions number ?

I got as far as actually making the payment by bank transfer, but they wanted my UTR number which I have never had.
So I cannot make the payment.
Do I have any options or is it too late ?

A Bank Statement/Lettter would suffice, if it has your Thais address on it?
Yes I have obtained it before for proof of address.
Just have to ask the bank to add ny address????

For proof of address you can use a letter from the Government, so a letter from HM Customs(income tax letter)
or from Dept of Works and Pensions, but I believe it needs to dated within the last 12 months?
I have neither

I used a Bangkok Bank statement for my proof of address.
Was this with VFS or an agency ? Thanks

Why do you need proof of address, when I renewed my sons here we didn’t provide that ?
It's listed as a requirement by VFS so must be same for agency

During the covid travel restrictions of early 2021 I used Key Visa to renew my UK passport. Cost was B5,000 not including the charge for a new passport for which I paid via the Credit Card form.
At that time it took 7 weeks. All worked out just fine.
With the Key Visa owner having sadly passed away a few weeks back not sure how that has affected their operations.
Did you pay KV the full amount, or did you still have to pay the passport fee by UK card ?

why do you feel you need an agent, the process is quite simple
I will have problems proving my address in Thailand.
Also the application form that I have seen online asks for a UK address ... not applicable for me.
-
Mine expires in a few months, so any recommendations for agencies in Pattaya who deal with this -- and approximate all-in cost ?
Thanks for any advice

Have checked the VFS site and think I know which documents are required for renewal
Completed application form
Colour copies of every page of expiring passport
Proof of address in English
2 passport photos
My concerns are:-
Regarding proof of address, like many of us I have absolutely nothing in my name at my address (except a driving licence) as all bills etc are in my wife's name.
I have read that a recent bank statement showing my name and address in English could be acceptable ?
I read that the fee needs to be paid on a UK credit card --- I have a UK bank atm card, would this be acceptable ?
If I have missed anything am grateful for any and all advice regarding this

Can those experiencing delays also mention whether they are being funded from a Wise balance or from a bank transfer, and from which country as that may help discover the root of the problem. Also the amount involved if desired, or at least an indicator.
I experienced a couple of hours delay a few days ago on what would normally be expected as an almost instantaneous transfer. Funded from a UK bank faster payment which Wise did not acknowledge receipt of for 2 hours when normally it's immediately acknowledged and the funds paid out to BBL within seconds. Low value transfer (< 50,000 baht).
I have had my UK bank take 2 hours to complete the transfer to Wise due to "fraud checks" This now seems to be the norm
