You have sort of answered your own question. The Baht is very much linked to the USD, so when the pound is down against the dollar, its also down against the baht.
But the USD has had a series of rate rises, whereas the baht has had one - which the banks have been told not to apply. I realise the GBP is not so strong, but the baht should be weakening vs the USD as well, perhaps even more than the GBP

So despite 2 recent interest rate rises by the US and UK, the baht remains strong, mainly aginst the GBP. I realise that the GBP has tanked vs the USD, but the baht hasn;t really moved.
Any explanation how this continues ?

Suggestions as to hotels with good views of the race course from their balcony's or windows is appreciated.
Depends where it's to be held. If on Mabprachan lake (like the local competition) then there are zero hotels anywhere near it

With the cost of flights, and the ever-decreasing fx rate, don't expect too many tourists

Rip, but have to think why they searching under the seat and stating they found alcohol before tests have been conducted.
If they found alcohol under the seat, it hadn't been consumed.

Outrageous Fortune is an excellent New Zealand production of Six series about a comedic criminal family living on the edges of society at times. It's over ten years old but hasn't dated. Good solid entertainment, drama, comedy and action. A lightweight crim family hold together under the guidance of their matriarch. Great fun and good watch but with some dramatic moments.
Sounds like a comedy version of Animal Kingdom

If they know that the tourist has already checked out, then they must know his identity. Immigration should be able to track him down......

I'm guessing they still think Sepp Blatter is in charge and they can bribe someone. They have about as much chance of getting it as me of winning miss Nigerian under 18 prom queen.
Put An*tin in charge of this ????

i found a good app: golfdigg
one extra question, is tip on top of caddy fee? golfdigg shows caddy fee around 400 baht, then how much is the tip considered generous but not crazy?
300 baht around Pattaya, some of the "better" courses expect 400 or more.

Has the Singha Corporation increased the prices of its other beers or just LEO?????
Only asking as I now enjoy Cambodian beers which are much more to my liking. When in Thailand, Chang was my choice.
Chang has been ruined by a change in recipe, and continued reduction of abv.

They've got lots of 800K deposits from farangs; this way they dodge paying them any interest.
