Trump Eyes Rarely Used Alien Enemies Act for Deportation Plans
mikeymike100 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
"Trump announced on Saturday that he had signed a proclamation declaring that the Tren de Aragua gang was "conducting irregular warfare" against the US and he would deport its members under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. That evening, US District Judge James Boasberg in Washington DC ordered a 14-day halt to deportations covered by Trump's proclamation, pending further legal arguments. After lawyers told him that planes with deportees had already taken off, Judge Boasberg gave a verbal order for the flights to turn back, US media reported, although that directive did not form part of his written ruling. https://www.yahoo.com/news/us-deports-hundreds-venezuelans-despite-140611527.html So they have already landed in El Salvador...good riddance!!! -

The U.S. makes a sparkling wine identical to Champagne. Winemakers in regions like California, Oregon, or New York can use the same grapes, méthode champenoise, and meticulous aging processes to create a product indistinguishable in quality or taste. Places like Napa Valley have climates and soils that can rival Champagne’s terroir, and producers like Schramsberg or Domaine Carneros craft high-end sparkling wines that compete with the French stuff blind-tasting-wise. But legally, they’d call it "sparkling wine" or something like "Methode Champenoise Sparkling Wine" unless they’re grandfathered in.

Biden did when was the President......on February 28, 2024, Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, released a six-page memo after his annual physical, stating Biden was a “healthy, active, robust 81-year-old male” fit to execute presidential duties. This report detailed his conditions—like non-valvular atrial fibrillation and sleep apnea (treated with a CPAP machine)—but found no new major concerns. Earlier, in November 2021, another physical summary was shared, noting similar health details and a lesion removal. There is no mention of cognitive decline you will notice. Although of course we now know he was practically a vegetable.

What a fool, was he half asleep trying to get 38Kg of the stuff thru security, maybe 10 years in a Thai prison will wake him up? Even if he got the stuff to the UK, I am pretty sure the sniffer dogs they have there would have caught him out! -

The Erosion of Equality in British Justice Where Race Plays a Role
mikeymike100 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
"In effect, these guidelines suggest that minority groups should receive more lenient treatment than white defendants, particularly white men. The provisions related to slavery and trafficking also open the door for legal arguments that could allow illegal immigrants to avoid prosecution altogether. " So it is not hidden anymore its out in the open a 2 tier justice system. So not only has free speech disappeared in the UK, actual justice itself is disappearing. So the statue on the 'Old Bailey' will be torn down, no doubt Lady Justice. a symbolic figure rooted in ancient mythology, representing fairness and impartiality in the legal system. The scales she holds—usually balanced—stand for weighing evidence objectively, without tipping toward bias or favor. She’s typically blindfolded too, showing justice should be blind to wealth, race, or status, though older versions sometimes skip the blindfold. -
BBC Chairman Proposes Higher Fees for Wealthier Households
mikeymike100 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
"Shah’s comments signal potential shifts in the BBC’s funding and internal culture, as the broadcaster grapples with financial challenges and demands for greater transparency and inclusivity." Very simple as the BBC has broken its charter on many occasions, get rid of it. The BBC is outdated now, nobody needs this legacy form of broadcast. It is ludicrous that people in the UK have to pay a license fee to watch the BBC's bias and propaganda!- 17 replies

Police Face Criticism Over Internal Review Clearing Essex Force
mikeymike100 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The police investigating the 'police' and clearing them, proves they are a complete joke as are these 'non crime hate incidents' Either there a crime has been committed or is has not, if its a 'non crime' by definition there is no crime, its not rocket science! Why are they collection information on people who have NOT committed a crime??
