"racism"...you lost me, what was said that was racist ?

". Consider a four-year-old child suspended from nursery for alleged “abuse against sexual orientation and gender identity,” at an age when many children still identify more as dinosaurs than people" The above sentence says it all...Total madness...WHEN AND WHERE WILL IT STOP? The UK’s logged over 124,000 hate crimes from 2020-2021, many tied to online speech, and police have chased down "non-crime hate incidents" like Harry Miller’s 2019 transphobic tweet saga—ruled unlawful later, but still a hassle. Then there’s the Public Order Bill and buffer zones around abortion clinics, where even silent prayer’s landed folks like Isabel Vaughan-Spruce in cuffs...............

Quake Jolts Thai Tourism: Rising Concerns Over Safety
mikeymike100 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes indeed, if there are any more quakes or aftershocks, its going to be a very quiet low season in Thailand. Watching that half constructed building collapse, in Bangkok was shocking, how many more have been built to the same low 'standard'? -
Six coppers were sent, so this must have been ordered at Inspector level or above! After a five-week investigation, Hertfordshire Police concluded there was insufficient evidence, and no charges were filed. So they sue the police for false arrest and probably assault and false imprisonment! Under UK law, specifically the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE), police must have reasonable suspicion to arrest without a warrant. No threats, physical altercations, or immediate danger were reported—just criticisms that upset school staff! This once again is the government showing their true colors! No pun intended!

Thailand may bounce back, but may take more than a few weeks. Especially if there are more quakes or aftershocks. -

Clinton sounds off about donald stupidity
mikeymike100 replied to 3NUMBAS's topic in Political Soapbox
Clearly the woman is delusional, what she is saying is that Trump is stupid, and she lost to him, so what does that make here???..... The fact this op ed is in the Guardian, and the NY Times speaks volumes! She wrote...."In a dangerous and complex world, it’s not enough to be strong. You must also be smart. As secretary of state during the Obama administration, I argued for smart power, integrating the hard power of our military with the soft power of our diplomacy, development assistance, economic might and cultural influence,” I am sure the 4 Americans that died in Benghazi disaster, would be happy to hear that -
"With no arrests made so far and the attacks continuing across England, authorities remain focused on uncovering the full extent of the suspected gang conflict and bringing those responsible to justice" So in other words the police can't be bothered, as nobody wrote hurtful words on social media???😉

It seem the UK is determined to give foreigners more 'rights' than the 'British', not just this insane idea, but there are other ludicrous initiatives, like giving foreigners more lenient sentences than locals. The use of pre-sentence reports (PSRs) to provide judges with detailed information about an offender’s background, including factors like ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or personal circumstances. The goal is to address disparities in sentencing outcomes, particularly for ethnic minorities. This initiative gives a certain demographic an excuse to commit crime?

Maxine Waters Targets Melania Trump in Fiery Speech
mikeymike100 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You are not being accurate with your comment, in fact its false! His reference was to illegal aliens, or more euphemistically undocumented ones! "deplores the poisoned blood of foreigners destroying the US"—doesn’t match any direct quote from Trump!!! -
Absolutely, there are more terrorists associated with Islamic groups than any other religious sect globally. Research from sources like the Global Terrorism Database and reports from Fondapol indicate that Islamist terrorist organizations, such as ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, and the Taliban, etc, account for a significant majority of terrorist attacks and fatalities worldwide. For instance, Fondapol’s analysis from 1979 to April 2024 documented at least 48,035 Islamist terrorist attacks, resulting in over 210,138 deaths, with these groups responsible for a disproportionate share of global terrorism victims—over 80% according to some estimates. The Global Terrorism Index also consistently highlights that the deadliest terrorist groups in recent years are predominantly Islamist, with groups like ISIS and Boko Haram leading in attack frequency and lethality!!!

Why are they, the Government, going out of their way to protect only 'muslims' surely this reverse discrimination. " The report, adopted by the Labour Party, defined Islamophobia as “rooted in racism” and described it as “a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness." Totally ludicrous, Islam or Muslimness is not a 'race', how can it be racism????

UK Streets a Battleground for Foreign Conflicts

Correct, surely it is obvious to everyone that things will only get worse unless this madness of allowing so called 'asylum seekers' into the country is stopped.
