  1. But it should be able to? OK so some of the addresses might have changed, but some won't have?
  2. Love the sarcasm, but probably true?
  3. I think very unlikely, only an idiot would take their original passport out, especially at night and super especially going to soi 6?????
  4. Too late, they already have?????
  5. Right it seems a fairly common mistake by the IO's to incorrectly stamp your permission to stay, so having said that its quite possible they forgot to stamp anything in her passport? Most folks who are not frequent travelers would probably not check after getting stamped in?
  6. So she would have had her fingerprints taken and picture taken at the IO booth, she would have shown her boarding pass to the IO and the IO 'forgot' to stamp her passport? Then she is locked up for 5 days because its all her fault? They should be thanking for showing how mistakes happen and doing something about it! Amazing Thailand........???
  7. Right, but it initially did appear on the website when it was first issued! then it did 'disappear' from the website.
  8. "unless the ins company have actual evidence to say he was not wearing a helmet then IMO they are on shaky ground, perhaps legal intervention is an option here. " Agreed. The insurance company are saying they don't 'believe' he was wearing a helmet, which means they don't actually know for sure? Taking this on face value the family should use the Ombudsman service, its free in the UK and binding? Agree about the hospitals too!
  9. Quite so, I recall Michael Schumacher, the racing driver who had an accident skiing, he was wearing a helmet and his head struck a rock, this was in 2013, he still has not recovered.
  10. Well good news at last! Lets see what happens now?
  11. Quite, the Red Notice for the Red Bull heir 'Boss' was there one minute then it disappeared? These three Chinese guys need to found before they do it again to someone else!
  12. Whilst that may be a pragmatic suggestion, and I concur, I get a feeling some of the woke mob would suggest it could be racist?
  13. The cops would have to do actual police work to get real criminals? Although over stayers have committed an offense, it seems they are easy pickings, although maybe immigration wouldn't be the branch doing the investigations, they could help with locating the perps?
  14. Quite, a couple of weeks ago, I recall a man and woman who were on overstay of 9 days and 6 days respectively, they were both arrested and paraded in front of 4 or 5 cops and no doubt deported, or still in IDC?
  15. Question, if the OP does get given 7 days to leave, can he go to, say Vietnam, for a few days and return on another visa exempt? Does the fact that he was given 7 days to leave have any negative impact?
  16. Yes i read that, but don't you think they would have said something, plus nobody else, as yet, has confirmed it? Don't you think if there was any truth in it, there would be a hot news item on the subject?
  17. Quite, I did my yearly extension last week in Jomtien/Pattaya with a multi re-entry, nothing was said, its complete garbage! If they had changed the rules which would impact a significant number of folks, somebody would have heard something?
  18. IDC better get a much larger holding cell?????????
  19. So let me get this straight, a person has a valid extension of stay stamp in a passport, a valid re-entry permit and because he or she doesn't have the correct app, or it doesn't work, or the battery is flat or some other technical reason, they will be refused entry?????
  20. What about those folks that don't have a smartphone? Or if they do, don't have the banking app?
  21. The only way they could do it, would be to check the 'bank book', I assume? Most folks including Myself keep the bank book, amongst other things, in a safe place, actually in a safe. How many people carry it around with themselves when traveling internationally?
  22. Quite, it is !st of April today?
  23. Correct, that place is heading for disaster, still it will keep the cops busy?
  24. The system they have now only works if the foreigners let it work,by reporting their accommodation if you want to 'lose yourself' you can? Any criminals in Thailand would know this, so only non criminals do the correct reporting? So does the system work..........?
