Children under 12 months old should be vaccinated against COVID-19
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I would really love to see the science this is based on. Independent long term scientific research that has been peer reviewed by independent scientific bodies. Just absurd. Pump mRNA vaccines into healthy babies?- 130 replies

You seem very sure of this. You also seem to underestimate the hatred for the current system which was whole heartdedly voted against. History as you say is not made in the past but in the present. Times have changed here but it seems you cannot or will not see this. The people of Thailand will take to the streets. Do not doubt this.

Thunderstorms hit Thailand: Heavy rainfall sparks flash flood warnings
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Here we ago again. Don't know about anyone else but basically the same warning for last week and where I am (just sw of BKK) got one storm lasted about an hour. Apart from that not a drop and 40+ everyday with high humiditiy. I guess if they keep up the warnings all the time sooner or later it will be correct. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. -
How to win when you lose. Get rid of the winner. People take to the streets. Army deployed. Army plants small bombs (pingpong bombs etc) around BKK. Coup is announced. Army remains in power.

Another nonsense post. It has been made absolutely clear on here that people who are in a risk group should consult a doctor. Hopefully a good one. -

You're response is nonsensicle. I said kids should be vaccinated against the viruses they are vaccinated against. Covid should not be one of them. -

Alas this is true and is part of the reason measals is still around. IMO not wanting to have you're kids jabbed with mRNA vaccinations against a non-severe virus is different. If there was an mRNA vax for the common cold would you take it and would you allow you're kids to be jabbed with it? -

Are the very good measles, polio, diptheria, mumps, rubella vaccines mRNA.? No. Do they work? Yes. I am all in favour of these vaccinations for children because history has shown the are very effective and side effects are minimal. Can the same be said for the covid vaccinations? -

Fair point so what are the chances of dying from, not with covid in Thailand, population >70,000,.000? Would you agree it's a very, very, very, very small %? -

It's seems you discovered a case of cherry picking. Well done. What makes me wonder is why? Why not the actual reality. Why push this nonsense? I truly don't understand the mindset of some people. The cances of dying from covid globally now must have so many zeros after the decimal point. Even in Thailand. 0.000000?????. -
COVID makes comeback in Thailand as booster fatigue leaves door open
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No one is saying it's finished. The point is the severity of Delta has finished. It's now Omicron. Can you not just accept that for the majority of countries and people it's no longer an issue other than for those who are at risk. -
COVID makes comeback in Thailand as booster fatigue leaves door open
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well I guess if it suggests this is the case that's good enough. Do you suggest school children should be vaccinated continuosly with boosters? Even then it won't stop them from contracting and spreading the virus. Should all school children wear masks for decades to come? Will this stop transmission? Sure school children spread viruses. It's a good environment for viruses to spread. Not the only one though. Public transport, workplaces etc, etc. This is the nature of viruses. Do you think it can be stopped? Hasn't so far. There have been some vaccines that have eradicated or almost eradicated viruses. The covid vaccines, however, haven't and won't. It is an endemic virus as is the common cold and the flu. It really is time to move on from this. It's here for a long time. -

This is interesting. I wonder how many billions of masks are being worn and discarded in the garbage yet numbers of infections are huge. -

Not showing any sign of this with Omicron variant. A new variant would have to emerge. -
COVID makes comeback in Thailand as booster fatigue leaves door open
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The virus will not and cannot be stopped. Bit like the common cold and the flu. They are still here and will continue to be as will covid. It's purely up to you if you want to be jabbed with mRNA vaccines and wear a mask for the rest of your life. Even if you do you CAN STILL get covid and spread it. As for "not all of the mutations are going to be milder" can you please support this with some evidence. Crystal ball perhaps? -

Can anyone tell me that this doesn't show the gap between unvaccinated, vaccinated without booster and vaccinated with booster isn't closing? I would like to know your logic. Indeed rates of death according to this for those vaccinated with or without booster seems the same or am I reading this incorrectly.
