The senate only has another year to run or there abouts so it's going to be interesting. Again if they vote against Pita then there are two options as I see it. Phue Thai jumps and forms their own coalition which IMO will not be good for them at the next election (meant to be signing a memorandum of understanding with MFP today) or a minority govt is put in place in which case a vote of no confidence will be put foward on day one of parliament. This will be successful because the opposition will have a majority in the House of Reps where the Senators have no vote apart from electing the PM. The minority govt. will then have to be dissolved leading to a new election or a move by the army.

The wet season.

Last wk they said it starts today. Now it's this week. Tomorrow it will be next Monday but as we all know it normally starts in July sometime. Traditionally the wet season starts on Khoa Phansa which this year is early August.
