Ah! Nice to see the old anti-vaxer rhetoric raise it's ugly head again. That was a big part of the get vaccinated or you're no good campaign. Not wanting to take the covid 'vaccine' does not make a person an anti-vaxer. Tetanus. I'll have and have had the jab. Rabbies. I'll have and have had the jabs. As for kids they should get their course of jabs apart from the mRNA jabs. I though will never have another mRNA jab for what is essentially a non-serious virul infection for the overwhelming % of the World's population from technology that has had no long term independent studies and has been shown to be able to cause serious side effects including death. Ok it might be rare by I'll never risk it again. I have no reason to.

Rediculous anology. Not wearing a sealtbelt is in no way comparable to a contagious virus be it a seroius or non-serious virus.

Still transmit, still get sick and can still die. Obviously comorditities increase the risk of serious illness or death vaccinated or not.

Like big pharma got an indemnity for vaccine injuries/death? You seemed to have missed the very important FACT that being vaccinated does NOT stop transmission. Should vaccinated people have to sign the same indemnity? So everyone basically.

Many 'esteemed experts' said that vaccines are safe and will stop transmission. Remember "Get vaccinated to save granny"?

Your upset because you cant smoke weed legally anymore while you still can do other more harmful drugs legally. right?
I know . It sucks man .
Incredulous is more like it. What has become a burgeoning private sector enterprise will now go back to into the hands of organised crime. Money for the cartels, generals and the BIB. If you think this is a positive move then that's your opinion which you are entitled to.

One has to wonder why recovery times are longer? Is it the virus or the vaccines This entire article reads like it's going to go pandemic again. Who on here thinks this to be the case? I also see the modal verbs of could and may being used. ps. Won't be long now until the narrative supported by narrative stats are posted.

Obviously they dont GAF about the people and how safe a drug is otherwise alcohol would have been banned a long time ago and weed would be legal everywhere. Its all about money, politics and power. So just save your breath and your health .
I want to drink alcohol, I want to smoke cigs and I want to 'legally' smoke dope. The 1st two I can do and cause more harm to my body than the 3rd. The 1st two are legal and the 3rd is about to be reclassified as a class 5 narcotic the same as meth and heroin. Simply insane.

So a Bt1499 (or less) bottle of wine which was going to have taxes cut and which hasn't happened will now have an extra 7% added on.

It was down for 50 minutes. This is why a cashless society is not a good idea. No internet then no internet transactions. I wonder how many were at a checkout and ooops, no internet and no cash to pay for the goods.

As I said before. This thread is about cannabis. And all the time you want to open another box.
I'm out now. 🙏
It's about recriminalising dope. It's about making it a class 5 narcotic again. Mature arguments about this includes a range of issues. Pity you can't see this.

Oh dear, now you're hurt? That's not intended.
I've no problems if you compare apples with pears. It's just funny. Even the day ends soon it's good to read your cracking jokes. Thank you.😄
Dope, yaba, alcohol and cigs are all drugs. No apples and pears as you say. All drugs and all available. Now list them most harmful to least harmful. Now think about why is dope going to be reclassified as a narcotic. Now think about the article and should dope be recriminalised. It's called critical thinking. Not everyone is good at this.

The headline of this thread is Cannabis. Not alc, not apples, not pears. So it's appropriate to stay with Cannabis. If you want to "discuss" other matters you're free to start a new topic.🙏
My apologies. I didn't reaslise you only read the headlines and/or can't understand the wider issues and arguments. Apart from this it seems as though the moderators have no problem with this line of discussion.

No, it's not. However, it's very common nowadays to open a new subject if you don't have any answer to the described one, in this case cannabis.
It's common nowadays to answer with a question.
However, it gives a precise picture of the author.
Only in general speaking, of course.🙏
Part of the reason the govt has given to recriminalise is harm to society. The point being made is alcohol and cigs cause more harm to society than dope and they are legal. If you think this isn't a legitimate argument to posit within this discourse then IMO you are mistaken.

Stay on the cannabis question, please. 🙏
When a govt comes out and says dope causes harm to society do you not think a comparison to alcohol and cigs which are widely available and consumed by kiddies is not warranted?

I was up in Leoi once the told me they get from Laos, I dont use the stuff but plenty were,
Thousands of tonnes a year coming across the boarders. This is what it will go back to. I guess this it what all those screeming "dopeheads" on here would rather see. Maybe they're just completely illinformed or just plain ignorant but criminalising dope again is not the way to go. There is no logic behind this. It's political.

You may have 20 years incountry and have a Thai wife and family but you still KNOW NOTHING. Because you arent Thai.
Rediculous comment. I guess if your not Thai you no nothing about Thaksin's extrajudicial killing spree in his war on drugs. Not Thai then have no idea about deals being made to bring Thaksin back. Not Thai then have no idea and no right to comment on corruption. Not Thai then have no idea and should not comment on how MFP was shafted. I could go on for a long time about this but needless to say one doesn't need to be Thai to know about and have an opinion on the aforementioned examples. Your entire post is just a rambling diatribe of complete nonsense.

You might as well ban alcohol and cigarettes I'm sure the could come up scientific evidence that they are just as bad, Close all the bars and nightclubs,
I reckon the evidence will show that booze and cigs are worse.

Better the youngers take yaba then I guess. Legal or illegal dope will still be here like yaba just yaba will become a cheap and readily available alternative. Dope goes underground and harder to get then meth problem is very likely to increase along with all the accociated problems not found with dope. IMO this is also a valid point.

"Pothead". Well it's clear what you think. Having a joint or two doesn't make a person a "pothead" just like having a beer or three doesn't make a person an alcoholic. I for one would be happy to buy from a shop rather than sneaking around corners to buy some knowing the BIB would want a backhander to turn a blind eye. Still if you think supporting corruption and crime bosses is the way to go then that's your oppinion and you're entitled to it. Dope has always been availble here and always will be. How it can be obtained is the question.

Protesting and filing lawsuits is the best way to address this also weed advocates should step up pressure and the Thai people should remember the polictical party who caused this issue !!! VOTE THEM OUT !!!!! Tell your local government leaders to support cannibis !!! Or VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!
The last 'govt' was voted out and the govt. we have wasn't voted in so not sure how much good it would do.

It seems that most on here have forgotten the 0.2% thing. Fortunately the medical only nonsense was passed right on by and profits made from crime boses, generals and the BIB was taken away. I'm all for young kids not being able to buy it but what is the harm to society? I've seen increased crime stated but this is nonsense. Crime and meth, sure but not dope. I would love to see evidence to dispute this. Crime associated with dope is only from it being illegal. Smuggling, growing, dealing and smoking. Recriminalisation hence will increase crime.

Thai Medics Warn of Covid Surge with 11 New Deaths

The thing with this virus is it's very, very good at spreading itself around. A person can be infected and not even know they it or have symptoms that are so mild that it's hardly noticed. Still able to spread the virus though. It's unstoppable just like the common cold and is with us for the foreseeable future. Jabs, masks, lockdowns whatever, it can't be stopped. Lost count of how many Omicron variants there have been and it's certain there'll be many more all of which for the overwhelmelming majority of poeople is a non-severe viral infection.
