Thai Embassies abroad
Since the roll out of the eVisa online system at thai consulates world wide every thai consulate can see your previous eVisa history (applications, cancellations and rejections) no matter where you applied. They do not have access to your previous 'sticker' visa history, your entry or extension history. That is why you see consulates request scans of every page of a person's passport (blank pages too), so they can see visa exempt, extension and denial of entry history.

Red void stamp in passport
Good catch @Maestro Yep it is indeed a bad stamp by immigrations that they voided. Nothing to do with the voided entry stamp image I posted. The stamp in their passport shouldn't cause any more scrutiny than normal.

CoR at CW for Non-O visa things (TDL, Bank account etc)
That is 100% NOT correct any longer at Chaengwattana immigrations ☹️ Now the service is FREE, but it requires TWO visits to C/W, one to apply, and one a week later to get the COR you apply, get a receipt paper that shows you return in 7 days and when you do you just show the receipt and they give you the COR

CoR at CW for Non-O visa things (TDL, Bank account etc)
Don't even worry about the form you need to fill out. Just go to the main immigration office out at the government complex building B on Chaengwattana Road. Go to the third floor that's where the TM 30, 90 day report, and certificate of residence room is. Have your tm30, have your lease, data page of your passport, copy of your evisa, most recent entry stamp. They'll give you the form to fill out while you're standing there and you'll have plenty of time while you wait in the queue. The COR is free and when you apply they will give you a receipt that says come back in one week to pick up the certificate

Has the visa-exempt fuss calmed down in 2026?
It would appear it has not "calmed down" at least at the Nong Khai border. 😦 They are still telling people (who have lengthy visa exempt entry/stay history) they can stamp out but can't get back in by land and will have to go to Vientiane and fly back to Thailand. ☹️ Talked to two people today, one who decided not to stamp out, and one in Vientiane who's going to fly back in with a "safe entry" provider, so he's sure he can get back in at the airport.

400,000 balance during marriage based extension consideration period
It's definitely not written into the requirements for an extension of stay based on marriage to a thai national. BUT with that being said, there are more than a few offices that require you to leave it in during the under consideration period until you go back to get the extension inked in. Bangkok immigration at Chaengwattana used to make you update the bank book and bring it when you 'closed the loop' on an under consideration stamp based on marriage. But since they went to just 21 day under consideration they discontinued the practice. There are reports of the officers doing the home visit asking to see the bank balance (although those are rare) As @BrandonJT said it's basically what ever your office tells you it is because they are the gate keeper on you getting the extension

Non-O based on marriage/"Dependent visa" success!
Unless I'm mistaken, the Thai consulate in Manila was one of the only consulates that would issue a 90 day Non-O visa to a spouse of a "retirement visa" holder, (someone on a 90 day Non-O visa/extension) In fact I know a couple ('murican guy and his pinoy wife) who got BOTH visas issued at the same time late last year (Oct I believe). He got a 90 day Non-O based on retirement and she got one based on being the spouse of someone on a 'retirement visa'.. Now whether they did that because he had a Filipino wife, dunno, but they both had 90 day Non-O visas As far as I know, no other consulate in S/E Asia that I'm aware of will still issue that visa (trailing spouse of retiree on Non-O). They will issue "trailing spouse" Non-O to spouses of OA Visa holders but not to ones who have Non-O visa/extension. The last consulate that used to do it around here was Penang and they stopped it when they went to the eVisa online program.

New Passport transfer visa/extension of stay!
That is 100% a false belief and you'll run yourself off the rails if you do that 😵 As @Upnotover correctly stated, you show both passports when you stamp in. Passport control will stamp you in on the new one, making a note that you're extension and re-entry permit are in the old passport.. Then you take both pairs to the immigration office where you got the extension and get the stamps moved. So make sure you bring you canceled passport when you fly back in along with the new one..

Non-o marriage visa from Laos - how to book time slot
You are confused on how the process works now that all consulates in the world are on the eVisa online system Whether you use Vientiane or Savannakhet this is how the process works You GO to Lao You upload all the required documents, fill out the data fields, submit your application online via the eVisa web-portal (making sure you upload PROOF you're in lao; your visa/entry stamp), Once you submit the application you get a QR code which you take to the embassy to get in the gate so you can pay for the visa (2000baht cash). Then you wait in Lao until the visa is approved Note; you can start the application, fill out the fields, select the consulate visa, upload your documents BEFORE you go to Lao, <- you just CANNOT submit it until you upload proof you're in Lao, you leave the application in your "profile" on the eVisa website BOTH Vientiane and Savannakhet are about 3-5 business days for approval on "regular" Non-Imm visas (Non-O, Non-B, Non-ED, etc).. .

Has the visa-exempt fuss calmed down in 2026?
not trying to bust your balls with my comments, I'm just telling you how passport control is gonna look at it after you've been here as long as you have free stamp AND believe it or not that 60 day visit thai family extension doesn't help you in the least (in their eyes) Best of luck with it, safe entry is the way to go if you wanna get out/back and a guaranteed new 60 day entry stamp. PLUS both those companies can guarantee you can get a 30 day extension on a 60 day entry too

Has the visa-exempt fuss calmed down in 2026?
comin' in visa exempt IS for tourism.. I got no dog in this fight but I get messages from people many times a week who are stuck at the airport being denied entry because they thought they could get "just one more" visa exempt entry until they got their act together for one long term visa or another . .. So you can try to justify it how ever you want to, but face it, you have an extensive entry/stay history, w/extensions and in the eyes of immigrations you shouldn't be here free stamp (for that length of time) IF you have other visa options available (marriage, retirement, etc) I would bet dollars to durian you try to fly yourself out/back you'll get pulled aside, questioned and most likely denied entry and shipped back to where you just flew in from on your dime. You wanna come in on visa exempt entry by air use a safe entry company so you're sure you'll get in 🙂 OR go to a nearby thai consulate and apply for the 90 day Non-O visa online thru the embassy there by showing proof of funds in your country (doesn't need to be a thai account) unless you can't show proof of funds in your bank in your country either 😐 You can contact these two safe entry companies Thai Visa Service https://thaivisaservice.com/ OR Thai Visa Centre https://tvc.co.th/ Both of them do safe entry at Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi

Has the visa-exempt fuss calmed down in 2026?
No matter what your reason it's for milking visa exempt entries you're going to be hard pressed getting out and back in by land or air with that entry/stay history ☹️ You're about as far from a real tourist as you can throw a stick 😮 I'd say contact a "safe entry" company and fly out and back thru Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi. They guarantee you can get back in..

Non-O based on marriage/"Dependent visa" success!
You didn't say but I'll assume because she's Pinoy she applied thru the Thai embassy in the Philippines.. That's one of the only consulates that will still issue a "trailing spouse" non o visa to suppose of "retirement visa" (non o visa/extension).. Congrats.

Guidance from income affidavit letter to banked money method
That was a slow motion of a train wreck barely understandable post ☹️ This year get the affidavit of income from abroad notary this year (for the upcoming extension) get your yearly extension via monthly income by embassy letter method and then you either start transferring in 65K baht a month from abroad into a thai bank account in your name, each month, every month, for the next 12 months so you can apply for your next yearly extension using monthly income by transfer method OR You bank 800K in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply for your following year extension. It's not brain science or rocket surgery 😄 You have those two choices..

Returning from Abroad/ 90 day Online
You get the queue for the 90 day reporting upstairs in the 90 day report/TM30/cerificate of residence office on the 3rd floor It can be MAD HOUSE in the mornings.. A friend was there at 10;30 and there were 189 people ahead of them in the queue IF you can make an appt online, print the receipt (which IS your queue number) and then go 10 minutes before you will be in/out in minutes Sadly it looks like everything is booked until the 23rd

Returning from Abroad/ 90 day Online
The first 90 day report after returning from abroad has to be done in person You can try it online but you will most likely get this rejection notice As @DrJack54 pointed out, consider the mail in option (if you have enough time left to postmark the packet 14 days before the due date) You need copies of: data page of your passport current extension stamp most recent entry stamp TM30 receipt previous 90 day report receipt A filled out TM47 application for 90 day report A self addressed stamped envelope (so they can send the 90 day receipt to you) Send the packet Thai Post EMS tracked mail to this address 90 Days Report Section Immigration Division 1 Government Complex Building B Floor 3 120 Moo 3, Chaengwattana Rd, Soi 7, Thung Song Hong, Laksi, Bangkok 10210 Don't panic if it takes a while to get the 90 day receipt back right now it's taking almost 4-6 weeks.. AND if by some chance you don't get it back before your next 90 day report is due, you can go to Chaengwattana, show the EMS confirmation of delivery and they'll accept that no issue and let you file a new 90 day right then

extension visa for retirement - no free slots for the next 30 days ?
you're not getting up early enough to check (especially for retirement extension)😮 They update the system at midnight <- meaning that the openings for the day 30 days FROM today come available I've seen them booked up by 6 AM before ☹️ remember at C/W you can apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp SO set an alarm in your phone 30 days BEFORE the date you wanna go for your extension, get up in the middle of the night and snap up a booking when they open up. Otherwise you show up, queue up with the zombie horde and wait it out like the rest of the peasants 🤣 NOTE: you can also check the system periodically because if someone cancels a booking it comes back up to be available.. I had a booking for about a month out, then saw one come up in just a week, so canceled the old one and snapped the earlier one You can definitely make a booking you just have to want to, and plan it out As @Upnotover pointed out there's one open for Mar 9 @ 2PM

Non-B Visa Extentio After Lost Passport and Visa-Exempt Re-Entry
Hmm, she should have been able to go to the immigration office that issued the extension of stay and sold her the re-entry permit and get the stamps "recovered" as they'd have the documentation.. They'd amend the entry stamp and give her a new stamp for the validity of the old extension / re-entry permit I've seen that happen before and it's usually what they do.. She didn't use an agent/agency to get this Non-B visa/extension re-entry did she? I mean she went to the immigration office and applied for the extension with documentation from her employer, got the extension inked in and then bought a re-entry permit right?

Retirement Visa to 60 Day Extension Based on Marriage
Keep in mind it is NOT a 60 day marriage extension it is a "visit thai family" extension and just so happens your thai family is your thai wife GO to the immigration office bright and early Monday (the day your current extension expires) with your thai wife, her thai i/d, her house book listing, your TM30, the marriage certificates and ask them. Worst they can say is no, and then they'll sell you a 7 day get out of thailand stamp for 1900baht that gives you a week to get out.. You could bounce/out back and come in free stamp for 60 days if that happens This is the clause that allows it

Non-O(Marriage), Vientiane. Visa processing estimate.
It is a 2 to 3 business day process once you pay at the Consulate in cash for the visa after you have applied and get the QR code that you print out so you can get in the gate. Remember they require a 3-month bank statement although the 400k only needs to be in the bank when you apply

Price of Cost of an attorney for handling an application for Tha
If you meet the requirements you certainly don't need any lawyer, attorney or solicitor to muddy the water. I'd say go to the Thai Citizenship Facebook group and their companion website. Post in there with your questions and that should get you pointed in the right direction. Wealthy pensioner visa
The real question is Why not contact the LTR (Long Term Resident) division of the BOI (Board of Investment) directly and ask? They are who you apply thru, they are good at getting back to people with concise answers. you can contact them thru their website or their dedicated f/B page (they sometimes answer f/b faster) or you can call them as well Website where you apply for the visa https://ltr.boi.go.th/ F/B page for LTR https://www.facebook.com/LTRVisaThailand
