  1. well all commercial vehicles in EU are fitted with Tachos - so that's more or less the same thing.
  2. It's not just the box, it is someone who can read it.. If there is a collision in EU or UK it can take days for the incident to be analysed accurately. In Thailand an untrained BIB looks at it and makes the most convenient excuse he can and within a couple of hours the whole thing is forgotten. As you learn nothing from this there can be no improvement in road safety. THe black box is a useful analytical tool - in the right hands - in Thailand it's just a gimmick unless they train up RTI officers in the first place.
  3. Enfield versus spear is hardly "hand to hand"
  4. Don't see any connection between your pregnancy and my post. Or are you haveing problems understanding your own physiology? Are you having comprehension problems?
  5. When times get hard there is always a revival of the right - they seize te opportunity to offer simplistic solutions to simpletons fortunately in the UK and france it hasn't worked. However it is not time for the reasoned masses to rest on their laurels. In America things are not looking so good.
  6. 2011 United Kingdom Alternative Vote referendum - by Tory / Lib/dem coalition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_United_Kingdom_Alternative_Vote_referendum
  7. people inUK go one and on about WW@ yet they seem totally unaware of how fascism arose in Europe at the time and how it is repeating itself now
  8. There was a national referendum! (I suppose it was for AV though) Turnout was 42% - higher than this election. Have you done the math about the other parties yet? when it comes to votes against seats the Greens did even worse than Reform..... but if you add Labour, Green and Lib Dem (Lefties) - it is WAAAAAYYY more than Cons and Reform (Fascists)
  9. most masks are ineffective - you need at least N95 or similar to have any real protection.
  10. Black smoke from diesel engines is primarily carbon, but it also contains trace amounts of unburned hydrocarbons: These are leftover fuel molecules that didn't combust completely. Sulfates: Primarily sulfuric acid, a byproduct of sulfur in the fuel. Water vapor: This is a natural product of combustion. All this is harmful but the worst are the PM2.5 partcles which are small enough to go through the lungs and directly into the bloodstream.
  11. It's the pollution you can't see that is most dangerous - you need a radeon microscope to see PM2.5 particles
  12. you don't understand the word theory and are very uninformed about the evidence for evolution. The scientific definition of a theory is quite different from how we use the word in everyday conversation. In science, a theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, built using the scientific method the key points of a scientific theory are as follows Explanation: It provides a comprehensive explanation for a set of observations or phenomena. Testing: It is based on evidence and can be repeatedly tested and corroborated through experiments and observations. Refinement: Scientific theories are not absolute truths. As new evidence comes to light, they can be refined or even replaced by more accurate explanations. Strength: A strong theory can explain a wide range of phenomena and make predictions that can be tested. So, a scientific theory is more like a powerful tool for understanding the world around us, rather than just an educated guess or a static unchanging view point based on little or no real evidence. Your "preference" is not a theory as it doesn't fit any of the definition and even if it had the word "intelligent" in you case would be an oxymoron.
  13. Can anyone recommend a nursing agency that has home care services available - short term - Chonburi / Bang Saen / Sriracha area
  14. Not that simple - if you combine Labour, Green and Lib Dem, they got WAY more than reform and Tory combineed. Greens actually suffered as big a seat deficit as reform. People turned down PR before now it suits them several smaller parties want it......the Greens and Lib Dem have always wanted it, now Reform do to - I wonder why?
  15. Return of the Mosley-ites.. Fascism relies on 2 things, nationalism and gullibility.
  16. It's difficult to argue with an intelligent person, but impossible with a stupid one.
  17. "People complain when referendums don't go the way they want."
  18. I was posting about PR/AV v FPTP and you tried to make an inanae remrk about referendums that would indicate that you don't understand either in your 2 posts.
  19. You really haven't got a grasp have you? - the referendum was a FPTP when it sould have been a 2/3 majority for constitutional change. THe issue is the difference between democracy and mob rule, but those talking about pervcentges against a FPTP system don't understand that.
  20. People going on a "proportion" of the "the vote" have totally missed te point - several years ago Lib Dems had a referendum on proortional representation which was roundly rejected - now all those who opposed it are maoning about lack of proportional representation... how daft can you get?
  21. sp I presume you voted for PR/AV in the last referendum on that?
  22. LIb Dems were the ones who had the referendum of PR - the irony of having a referendum was lost on them.
  23. perhaps you should - then you'd know what semantics mean
