I was on Twitter and found Eric when his original dire prediction was just days old. I had returned from Thailand Jan 24th through Portland just a day after the first official USA case arrived via Portland. I flew through Shanghai Dec 26th 2019 and was really sick jan2-7 in BKK. I had severe brain fog in Feb March 2020. I spent 8 hours a day at least reading everything I could. So many billions of people in China that a ugly mutation is likely.

Just did a 4 day trip to Krabi, Koh phi phi. My estimate based on severe raspy coughing is that 10% of tourists have COVID. Most foreigners do not wear masks, on the airplane, ferry, or out at night. The pool party was well attended. Maybe you get sinus drainage, sore throat, mild fever, and that cough lasting more than 1 week. Worse thing is loss of taste and smell and you hope that goes away in under 2 months.

So so many blood losing injured? Perhaps try to reduce that part of this issue at the same time

Happened to us 3 years ago. Booked a real nice condo in a high floor overlooking the river near Siam for NYE. I think the Chinese owner didn't like an American guy or had old clients off Airbnb give him a better offer. Really screwed us as it's NYE and we are scrambling to find a place near Siam on NYE 2019. We ended up dealing with a shady Indian guy and the place he gave us didn't match the ad at all. Worse place to ever stay but we survived. Airbnb should have a bigger penalty for cancelations by the host.

So sad but nothing will change. Same ol same ol.

Isn't it true that 220v is more dangerous that 120v. Or would they both be equally safe if wired with a ground and proper safety breakers? It seems like there should be a website and numger to report dangerous looking power situations. Maybe a reward system but more importantly a way to put responsibility on some entity. If records show complaints and no action then jury awards would grow bigger. Just imagine your life going ok. Playing b-ball and dying picking up a stray ball. So sad.

The capacity of these aerial trams can be quite high. Detachable cars would allow several on off stations but they would need to have staff. Would need big parking lots in convenient locations to reduce traffic. Let's just hope they plan to replace the cable often. Coastal air and metal isn't good. Electrical problems in a car can be hard to troubleshoot. Especially if they occur off and on. It is amazing what you can find on Google if you know a few correct words to use. Many times cars have known issues that many have posted how to fix. Sometimes with great pictures, schematics, videos etc.

I think there are many people who like to wake up at 6pm and party till 5am. Not me. In all my youth and single years in the 80's in Denver and Dallas 2am was the legal time and that was late enough for me.

Wife says prices are up in last 20 months. Market food in hai him always expensive. Did see 2 walking hawker ladies selling bags of big, not giant shrimp in Asoke neighborhood for 320 baht a kg. Looked real fresh. I just wish they cooked them with some spices. shrimp cooked under an electrical heating element should be illegal

It's sweet you are worried about the wife. I think these trips are considered a reward for employees and willake your wife proud. Just tell her you love her and miss her but take the risk
