The police will probably start looking at the family home on Sukhumvit 53, where they will find a particularly large brown envelope waiting. Following this exhaustive investigation they probably won't be able to find him, because if they did the brown envelopes would cease coming.
-
Blimey. This particular brown envelope could be heading for the Guinness Book of World Records (Thai edition).

3,000 baht fine? That'll teach them not to do it again. Farcical.

Sure........I always carry a sun lounger in my luggage

Did she fall or was she pushed? It's a shame that this question isn't asked when it's a non-Thai that falls.

Yeah It is issued by your local Amphur. You need a yellow Tabien Ban first. Has basic info on it ID No, address etc.
There are several threads running on TV about this card.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, I'll look into it. I've been meaning to get a yellow Tabien Baan for a while, so may as well do this as well.

I did mine a couple of months ago. Buriram Immigration, copy yellow book, copy pink ID card, earnings statement from Embassy (rip off B2500), copy passport and one photo.
In and out 20 mins, fee B1,900.
Job done.
Pink ID card?

Hmmm, does the A/C "rad" have it's own electric fan....?
Not sure. I did look up the symptoms online yesterday and that was one of the suggestions - that the fan might be faulty (if it has one).

Remember it is a pressurised system, if you have a "real" leak it will de-pressurise in a very short time, your system does not have a "real" leak, may have a minute leak IF it is low on gas..
Thanks again. More than likely low on gas (maybe an oversight at the factory?) It tends to stop working when in heavy/slow traffic. If I rev the engine for a bit it gets cold again. Not a massive problem but annoying nonetheless.

Excellent, but if they say it just needed topping up you must question that as a 100% OK system does not lose gas in such a short time..
Thanks, yes, I'll be keeping an eye on it as it could well have a leak.

Update: I emailed Honda yesterday. They replied quickly asking for more details which I provided. They wrote back saying someone would call me. Later, an English speaking service guy called me from the dealership. Very apologetic he asked me to bring the car in and said they should be able to turn it around in a day. The car is with them now and they'll call me at noon with an update.

Who did You speak too, thats OTT. Check Airs about 10Mins
The service manager. It is OTT, Ace. But TIT. I'll be sure to check the mileage before I drop it off - you never know what they might do with the car for four days (if you include Sunday).

So three days is now two days ....
Saturday - drop off 9:30am, Monday - all day, Tuesday - pick up 4pm. I make that three days. Or, four days without a car, if you include Sunday.
-
It hasn't gone in yet. It's due this Saturday, and therefore no diagnosis yet so I'm wondering why the three days. If I'm not happy with answers to questions Saturday then I'll take it somewhere else. They are saying it'll take three days to diagnose which I find weird. They are closed on Sundays.

In westernized countries, the rich are often denied bail or the bail is set so high because the court understand that the meaning of 'flight risk' is more likely to apply to the rich then to the poor, unlike Thailand.
I do wonder if Thailand has 2 sets of law books. 1 for the average person and another for the rich/famous/socially high-standing/clergy/etc... Otherwise, why write a law book if you're not even going to use it.
No, one set of law books - it's just that some copies have fatter brown envelopes inside than others.

So do l, obviously not a good one, go to another dealership can't be that difficult in Bangers.
Thanks. Yes, I may well do that. I figured taking it to where I bought would be logical, but TIT. Lol.

Perhaps they do....Sadly you are in their hands....But thinking about it, a newish ride with an A/C problem could be a very expensive fix, if l were you l would stick with the wait...
Thanks, Trans, you're probably right.

Then you are stuck with the wait....
Again, true, but doesn't it seem a bit much? Perhaps they sub-contract their A/C work out to someone else, but it's a big BKK dealership so I find that surprising.

B-Quik do A/C on the spot...
True, but I'd rather get it done under warranty than have to pay.

Hi,
I've just booked my Civic RS in for it's first service (seven months old) on Saturday. I told them that there's a slight problem with the A/C, in that it doesn't work 100% of the time and gets very warm in the car on some occasions. They said that if they needed to check the A/C on top of the service then I wouldn't get the car back until Tuesday! Three days seems an excessive amount of time for this. Has anybody else experienced this type of thing? I guess getting a replacement car for three days would be wishful thinking.
Thanks in advance.

Just bought the Civic Hatchback Turbo having traded the Accord in.
For anyone interested, bare in mind the hatch does not come with RS features such as Nav, mirror cams.
I think this is poor marketing by Honda. Why can't one buy the hatchback with RS features? It seems silly to me, especially as it's being offered in other countries.

In other words: "Unless a huge brown envelope changes hands the other building will be demolished as well."
