    first i have to go back and earn it...555 dunno how thats gonna go. yeah i can gift it... but while away, the 180 law doesnt apply so easy... i already have a bank acct connected to thai acct. when you mention gifting is that while here or abroad? if its while here the question is how many times in a given lapse of time can you do so?

    i get what your saying... but that cash would be sent here to minimize the taxation effect the day i come back here to live permanently later on. it might be a loophole. not living here 180 days it shouldnt be taxable...

    i dunno if this can work out, but i am offered a new job back home and i plan on sending money to my bank account here. i will only be visiting my better half 1-2 months a year... dont think they can tax me sending myself money here if i dont live here...

    happy days... not so now the nightmare begins so now they will have access to our home records... big brother... reallyyyy. double taxation? these matters really need to be cleared up and imho double taxation is just plain wrong... hope tere will be provisions blocking this. NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!!!

    i agree with you. though some here like @BuddyPish would tell you if you depend on a good exchange rate go back home. havent seen him insulting anyone lately thogh... he'll be along shortly

    meanwhile the social benefits like a retirement net, education, healthcare etc... are left on the backburner so that thailand can attempt to claim to be a first tier nation. great priorities
