I never witnessed it or heard of it happening, and it doesn't fit with how they behave. Thais pushing in front of foreigners I have experienced, heard of happening, and it fits in with how Thais treat foreigners.

Go watch the video, he looks exactly like that for most of the debate, except he's breathing heavily and swaying from side-to-side in the video. (Possibly he looks worse than in the still.)

So you don't agree that Thai people are less welcoming than before, but are offering an explanation for it?

Any evidence for this? I highly doubt that a location catering to masses of foreigners would be happy to switch to a handful of Thais. Equally, I doubt this would cause a change in feelings on a national scale. Of course most Thais in the tourism industry would prefer to deal with Thais than foreigners, if the money was the same, but this feeling would have existed long before covid. Yes, during covid it was nice to travel around because there was no one in Thailand, but people working in the tourism industry weren't happy about this, even though it might have been nice for tourists themselves. This still all sounds extremely illogical.

It's sad that so many Thai women seem to be into guys like this.

I've had Thais jump in front of me a couple of times. The Thai behind the counter just serves them without thinking about it. I walk out. No point in giving racist people your money.

So, a few Thais travelled to destinations that were previously mostly visited by foreign tourist, and they found the places so much nicer than places that Thai people normally visit, that Thai people in general started to dislike foreigners more? That doesn't seem likely at all.

I think it's the above, plus covid. Their self-esteem took a nock when things got really bad simply because tourists weren't allowed in. This didn't lead to them appreciating tourists more, quite the opposite. Post covid, there have been multiple strong anti-foreigner campaigns also.

So not investigate the crime and punish him for that? Check up on him very thoroughly to see if there's any way to deport him?

The crazy thing is, leading up to the debate, the left-wing MSM has being trying to sow seeds of Trump being incoherent in interviews, presumably as some sort of pre-emptive damage control. I saw one comment somewhere that said something like "They both looked like confused old men", so it seems like the narrative might be pushed towards something like, "Oh yeah, they're both so old and unhinged", just to try to take the focus off of Biden's dementia. It will be interesting to see how they try to spin this.

Maybe they meant "spitting feathers", but the AI messed it up?

Trump won. Biden looked like a confused old man. This wasn't about Trump v Biden, it was Biden v rumours of being way past the point of being able to be a president. Trump turned up and did what Trump does, Biden's task was to turn up and to put the rumours to bed. Biden failed.

He looked to be desperately trying to remember what someone had told him to say if the economy comes up. It didn't answer the question, and it didn't make much sense.

Is that what they're blaming all his mistakes on now? "It's not dementia, it's LSD!" I guess some people might buy that. He is pretty incoherent.
