How many of the school kids 14 years old riding on motor bikes have passed a test, I would say none meaning they have no insurance. Amazes me out side the school a big hoarding promoting the wearing of crash hats, very if any of the kids ever do and the teachers just stand there and say nowt.

When I went the test centre in Pattaya 2 young male Thais failed the colour blind test and were asked to leave, no problem just jumped on their motor bike and rode back into town.

There must be a load of colour blind people in Thailand as many don’t know the difference between red and green.

A few Italians sitting at the tables in Big C in the middle next to a new coffee bar, some had water the others zero, when I worked in Italy it was common place for the bars to put free snacks on the bar. One particular bar stopped it, the Italians would come in buy one coffee eat the food watch the football on the TV then leave, needless to say the food didn’t appear again.

What indicates they are poor, they might not have cooking facilities or can’t cook, not unusual for a single male of course you will have a head cook and bottle washer paying them a pittance as a salary.

They have found a n new placinsid Big C in the cafe sell drinks but Not defending them but it’s probably their culture where live they although I think they would be asked to leave if they didn’t purchase anything or leave in a couple hours. The culture in Italy was the same people would sit somewhere hugging a coffee or a glass of wine for hours. The Thais don’t like confrontation so won’t ask them to move.

You are in a militia cultural tourist location what do expect or want, the place to yourself and citizens from your own country ? Don’t get me wrong there are certain individuals from various countries who do annoy me but I turn a deaf ear.

There is a Noodle place near KFC, the whole Mall is a huge improvement with plenty of choice and a variety of foods including 4 Sushi outlets There is always a few home delivery motor bikes outside as well, never there before the refurbishment. Redone all ceilings in most of the Mall and inside Big C and new flooring, huge new steel structure signage at high level externally. I can’t see the point in that though. Also huge arches above one of the escalators, no idea either the purpose of that, all shiny steel with a few lights on it.

Been a few individuals advertising on Facebook that they can obtain a licence for you with out taking the test, they don’t answer in the comments on the post only via messenger. I have had similar for 6 weeks recurring calf pain, one day ok next when out walking I get a muscle spasm to the extent I can hardly walk. I don’t class WISE as incompetent, it depends what bank your sending too, I set a transfer up just after 9am today, I received an email to say my money had been sent, it wasn’t available in my Bangkok Bank account until 2.13pm, obviously BB were holding on to it.

There have been loads of posts on a Wise Facebook page about delayed transfers using Wise but it appears to it only affects transfers to Bangkok Bank. My transfers to Krungsri from my U.K. Bank takes seconds but upto a day depending on what time I transfer to Bangkok Bank. Early morning transfer it usually the same day at 2.13pm at but at a later time it’s the day after at 2.13pm, before it was seconds. After after all the reports about scam bank accounts about BB it now takes longer, as it has been reported agents can’t deal BB either in Pattaya.

Can you convert an IDP to a Thai Licence with out taking the test ? Info, the Post Office in the U.K. no longer issue IDP’s only from Paypoint Shops.

Nothing to do with alcoholics it’s about the freedom to go to a supermarket, bar etc to buy alcohol.
