  1. I do not know how they concluded the old meter was faulty. My wife spoke to them on the phone. I have been recording electricity usage and bills for the last ten years and there was no significant difference in units used.
  2. We do not have solar but I am considering installing a grid tie system next year. On the subject of meters we had a new meter fitted in the last week. This was done at the initiative of PEA in Chumphon as they said the old meter was faulty. I had not noticed any problem. The new meter is of the spinning top variety so we got lucky I guess.
  3. Abstraction of electricity where I live in redneck country is very common. Just about any event such as a wedding or funeral a guy is hired who turns up with marquees, plastic chairs and tables. They usually bring enough lighting to light up a football stadium and they power it all by illegally connecting to the grid upstream of the property owner's meter. Many market traders power their market stalls in a similar manner.

  7. So far as I can tell from the preceding posts you have not actually measured the fuel consumption. Your impression seems to be subjective. A first step would therefore be to measure fuel consumption and compare with what others with the same truck/engine are getting. That makes more sense to me than getting dealers to chase a problem that may be illusory.

  9. Honda HRJ216 is the best mower you can buy in Thailand. Anything less than 1 rai maybe choose something cheaper.
  10. Front and rear bumpers do not look stock; probably FRP made in Thailand. Paint mismatch on front bumper. Check for crash damage front and rear. Sill mouldings also not stock. Check for rust and damage (such as incorrect lifting). Rear wing obviously some Thai aftermarket thing. Nonetheless a pretty car.
  11. I passed my test in my mum's 37 horsepower Mini. Then when she got a new Mini I wrote it off in very short order to my shame. No wonder teenagers get charged a fortune for insurance.
  12. With regard to the OPs car. Your car sounds like a lot of fun. By reputation they are an absolute pain to work on but I see you do not intend doing that job.

HMPO also makes payments for emotional distress caused by its mistakes, although it says this is not routine, with claims assessed on a case-by-case basis. “Exceptional” circumstances where consolatory payments may be made include a missed wedding or funeral due to an error, or where irreplaceable documents were lost."
