  1. I understand how the curve works, and the median and average do not mean (no pun intended) the same thing.
  2. How much would the Earth have to warm for it to really be noticeable? Climate Change Over the Last 100 Years (archives.gov)
  3. Do you think the average person does not know that? No, do you? I do not accept anything I am unable to review. I know that the often cited 93% of climate scientists agree thing was a lie. I believe that the world is generally getting warmer, and that anthropomorphic impacts it. An alternative to what? You've not presented much less supported such a theory. What do you do for a living?
  4. Trump is only one of the least appealing men on the planet to the left, and he has only been unappealing to the left since he beat Hillary, before that they loved him. You guys crack me up.
  5. I think it would be the people that drink excessively would likely look for the cheapest options, not the regular drinkers. That said, I think it has more to do with how much money people have than how much they drink in regard to where they go.
  6. Bell Curve Definition: Normal Distribution Meaning Example in Finance (investopedia.com)
  7. That video is hilarious. My kid loves the "Cheesecake Factory" at Central World, we all like "Coffee Bean by Dao". I want to try the "Shake Shack" next time we go.
  8. I saw it a month ago, I doubt it's gotten (got?) any better. Seems it's still getting great reviews.
  9. 1) I have no fear of outliving my money. 2) I don't care much about leaving much to my heirs. 3) I do not stay at home any more now than I did pre covid. 4) I do have too much cr*p, but I'm looking for a bigger house.
  10. I would very much like to see how "The Economist" determined that "...this generation of pensioners is not spending nearly as much as past generations. 10% less, and it's lowering inflation and interest rates as that unspent cash rolls over into savings." Seems pretty suspect to me. How is "spending" even defined? I bet I spent more on my last phone than my mother and father spent on phones in their lifetimes. The last new car I bought costed three times what the last new car my dad bought.
  11. Unless they are a fool, why would the old owner continue paying the bill or even remain liable for it?
  12. I was visiting my folks in the '80s. Go out and get hammered every night, sleep it off and repeat most every day for a couple weeks. I go out to the garage and have a pull off my dad's bottle every morning to take the edge off. One morning he joins me and has a taste. I look at him and say: "dang, I feel sixty years old." He looks at me deadpan and says: "No you don't." RIP Dad
  13. Yeah, in the US they mostly have rich parents, and the leftist teachers give them extra credit to protest. Then after they get a useless $200K degree in gender studies the get a $100K a year job on the public teat, and then the left "forgives" their loan, and they're still protesting.
  14. I wonder when all the protestors work...
  15. Yes, so let's let in another ten million, wink-wink-nudge-nudge...
  16. Did you find a place that will let you stay only a month?
  17. If mail in ballots come to their residence and they fill them out and mail them in, they've voted. If they go to a polling place with same day registration that does not require identification, they can vote. In municipalities that allow them to vote, like San Francisco and Oakland in California, Washington, D.C. etc. It's not really that complicated.
  18. Another well thought out response from the left.... I don't mind, personal attacks are all you guys have. I notice no one jumps in and says: "Biden never showered with his teenaged daughter!" or "Biden's not a liar and a cheater!" or "Biden's entire family did not get rich selling influence!" or "Biden did not let 10,000,000 illegals flood across the border!". How funny is that?
