Yeah, well not my experience. I have Krungsri. BKK and Kasikorn (since it was Thai Farmer) I have had easy efficient service on day of extension at both Krungsri and Kasikorn. Both were great, but lines are (in my experience) much longer at Kasikorn. Yeah, I've discussed it there, but no real need to discuss it because it's pretty easy to calculate when rate margin exceeds the flat fee for the Swift transfer. For 65K a month TW is great, but for large transfers? Not so much.

How would "they" go about ensuring that? What have you been subjected to that you felt was degrading?

For the 400/800K I think Krunsri is way better at CW. Virtually no waiting, Kasikorn seemed to take forever.

I don't think they (for whatever reason) want to make it easier for people with little or no money retiring here. If you want easy, get the Thai Elite visa or use an agent.

If you pay into Thai SS you either get payments or a refund when you retire. Oh, and medical.

The issue is not reflexes what you get old, it's how much harder it is to get up when you go down, I have had a good friend that dumped his bike at about 65 and never really recovered and was dead a few years later. It was something he/we would have jumped up from and laughed off when we were forty.
