  1. Would a pickpocket be a burglar, rather than a robber?
  2. Nice! Looks like a Hyundai.
  3. So what place was it?
  4. What place was it? Did you write a review?
  5. Not for Asians in particular, but (at least in the US) for foreigners in general, yes.
  6. That's hilarious.
  7. Yeah, they look pretty cheesy. Put some Nutek twenties on it.
  8. It is worth noting that Jean Carroll now has celebrity status, unlimited funding for legal services and unlimited press. She's a star now.
  9. So per the various multinationals advising your firm, any company employee/official entering Thailand to visit an office, factory or other company facility in an official capacity regardless of the duration requires a work permit?
  10. To all the "climate alarmists" farmers have been fighting over water for quite a long time.
  11. You can still have bug meat... Not to worry, the rich will still eat as they like.
  12. One Kool morning, Miss Pall Mall was walking down Chesterfield Lane in Winston-Salem. She met Phillip Morris who took her to the Raleigh Hotel in Newport. They got into an Old Gold bed, and right away he stuck his King-Sized L & M into her flip-top box, and if she doesn't look like a Camel in nine months, it'll be a damn Luckey Strike! (sorry, all US brands)

  15. Assuming the German guy is coming from Germany he is visa exempt. No one would get a work permit for that. Or to have a guy come to do a two-week training, or a two-month product start-up, or any number of other things.
  16. Indeed It has not been proven that Biden put his hands on Tara Reade.
  17. "Onward, through the fog"
  18. I came to Thailand about every other month for a couple years (working) before coming here for work full-time. During that time, I met with our sales rep, looked at factories, met with customers, suppliers, contractors and lawyers. I finally leased an office and hired a driver and an office manager and started interviewing staff, all without a work permit. Every time I was asked by anyone why I was entering Thailand, or what I was doing in Thailand I answered truthfully, and I never had any problem. During the over twenty years I worked here, I had countless foreign nationals visit the factory for any number of reasons, all working, generally for a week, but sometimes for several months at a time, none of them with work permits, always answering honestly, and no one ever having any issue. For visitors, I think the no work permit issue is greatly exaggerated.
  19. I love Emirates when it was the company nickel and I was doing Dubai once a month. Tough to beat the Emirates "lounge" in Dubai.
  20. Yet here you are for a peek....
  21. I aways assumed it was a carnival reference, no?
  22. Everyone always seems to talk smack about Thai, but I always thought they were okay. Bummer they dropped the BKK-LAX
