    I had to hit the brakes when a full-grown bull elephant made a right turn in front of me. He was coming from Rama IV onto Sukhumvit in rush-hour traffic. I had a lot more exciting stuff happen to me in the US than in Thailand.

    Is that not what I said? What have they done to block it from being on the ballot. I think it should be difficult to get things on the ballot, and I think that (generally) people should vote on election day, and when the polls close, that should be the end of collecting ballots.

    Mine is for my social medical payment. I'm set up for direct debit for the monthly payments and use a dedicated account. Apparently, without my Thai language name from my pink ID on the account, I would have to make the payments myself each month.

    Yeah, mine was K-Bank/Thai-Farmer Krungsri, what do you not understand? Thai social required an account with Thai spelling of name.

    I had actually missed one passport, so when I showed the "old" and new passport the old did not match. I had to fine my old, old passport.

    Did you not have to show your old and new passport? I only have one account on the pink ID, for my Thai social medicine account.

    Not sure about all banks, but when I updated my passport at K-Bank I had to go to the branch where I opened my account.
