which tile adhesive?
Dude is talking about 40-50 square meters of tile. Assuming it is only 10cm thick (not likely) that's 4-5 cubic meters of concrete, or about ten to twelve tons. It almost certainly has reinforcing mesh, which means just breaking it up is not going to be a party, much less toting it out and hauling it off. Now site-work has to be done, the soil recompacted, graded, forms built, mesh laid and 4-5 cubic meters of fresh concrete delivered and like wheel-barrowed in, screeded, floated and troweled-off. I agree absolutely that the results would likely be better, but that is a good bit of work for a guy working by himself that has no equipment or experience. Setting tile is not difficult or complicated, but everything is heavy, and it is hard work.

which tile adhesive?
Does your wife own it? If you can get concrete delivered, I would throw some wire down and dump 75mm on top of it and screed it off.

TOA has a lot of 2-part industrial coatings. Have used hundreds of gallons of TOA Epoguard Enamel Epoxy and it is a great product, but it will chalk in the sun, as will most epoxies. If you are painting over existing paint, be advised that the new paint will only stick as well as the old paint it is going over. It may not be in the "quick installation guide", did you google your model number for the PDF manual? My old washer and dryer are Electrolux, great product and service. As someone else pointed out, it is likely not draining correctly/completely. Make sure the drain-pipe is clear, and the evaporator is installed such that it drains completely. Running the unit in "Fan" mode for an hour or two now and then helps a lot.- which tile adhesive?

Were it me, I would go out and measure a wide variety of washer-drier combos to determine what size the opening should be. I would not design an opening such that you are severely limited on replacements. Trimming the opening for a cleaner look should be easy enough. Keep in mind, in the event it has to be repaired it will have to be pulled out. Best to have a track/receptacle/stops on the floor that aligns with the feet and that will keep it from walking and protect the cabinets from damage. I bought a new washer and dryer a few months ago. Your unit should include something similar to this in the installation section of the manual:- which tile adhesive?
I used the Crocodile green and it worked great. Make sure your surface is flat, read the directions, and mix only what you will use before it starts going off. I'd like to know how they were selected, but neither of you can tell me. You guys both know I'm stupid and that you guys are really smart, why don't you just tell me? If you could, you would. All we know from the links provided, is (per you link) they decided how to select the models, twenty years after the models were developed, and all we know from placeholder's link is that something over half of the models selected were reasonably accurate.- Worst Joke Ever 2026

Yeah, I saw that. Per you, they developed something in the '90s to select which of the models to use from the '70s.- Climate change: July set to be world's warmest month on record

And I think it's clear you don't understand. Why don't you just tell me how were the models chosen? Oh, that's right, you don't know.
