Thanks SK. The AU pension is about $500pw and your rent is $240pw, that only leaves $260 pw for food, utilities, car & other expenses. Hard to believe that there’s enough left over from that $260 to fund 2(!) x holidays to Thailand every year.
Would you be kind enough to elaborate of what type of Australian accommodation you’re in that allows the pension to cover your rent, food, other expenses and twice yearly trips to Thailand?
it must be shared accommodation right? In a remote/regional/farming location?
Keep believing that a wooden boat that took onboard 2 of every animal in the same way as children believe in the tooth fairy. May one of the 10,000+ gods currently out there ‘bless’ you for that. ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? ????⬛ ???? ???? ???? ???? ????
Agree. Santa Claus, the Easter bunny, the tooth fairy, gods (10,000+ and counting), a boat which took onboard every animal because of a flood... f f s... please shut this fairy tale thread down
There are over 10,000 worshipped Gods, so the question of believing in just one God makes no sense. The question needs to be corrected to read "Do you believe in any of the 10,000 Gods, which one and why?"
I hope the impending ‘more detailed report’ will delve into the “joys” of TH health care insurance premiums (or lack there of) for these ageing expats! ????
Great you like it up there. Lived in the far north for a number of years, not for me. <deleted> that! never again.
Coastal living with quick access (whenever required for a change of scenery) to the islands and sin city and BKK for me thanks!
Yes, lots of tourists in BKK, Patts, Phuket etc but there's also many coast/capital city- loving expats who live in those places and would never ever consider living in the far north... even it meant saving 10 baht a day for a coffee.
“$A2.00” (47b) coffee? Where? in some remote village soi cart, out the back of Nakhon nowhere.
Good luck finding a 47b coffee shop (to sit in) anywhere in BKK, Patts, Phuket etc.
Had he bothered to ask the bank they would have told him that they (any KTB branch office) need to activate the app. But instead of asking his bank, he preferred to have a cry on here... using an overly-dramatic thread title as click bait.
The KTB phone app needs to activated at a branch office - did mine just a few days back and it works perfectly. Remember to take your passport and also to turn off your VPN should you have one installed.
Hope this helps.
