No... The question you should really be asking is Why didn’t you comprehend what the Op has posted.

The Op has clearly stated the Doctor wanted to prescribe molnupiravir but couldn’t because she had been told she was not allowed to prescribe that antiviral medication to a ‘farang’.

Again.... You are commenting without having read / understood the Ops post - the Doctor told the Op that this was the medication (molnupiravir) that he needed.

Ok no need to get ratty.....Its very confusing, one minute he had the prescription then the big boss wouldnt let him have it, then he left with the prescription and was given paracatemol and cough mixture.

Sounds like the op got confused and as it apparently turns out that he didnt need the life changing medicine after all.

Now looking at the whole situation from afar it turns out that everything happened as it was needed to.

Posting on this thread will do more harm for your health than any confusion at the hospital lol

  2. A Thai massage which may well be therapeutic, would certainly not involve any oil.

From my experience which is fairly extensive. There are 3 type of places.

Girls in no uniform stood out side small place and offering 'massage services' no cashier and generally 3 or 4 girls. Here anything goes and a massage is probably the lesser chosen option. Full sex pretty much anything you want with as much noise as you want.

Girls in uniform, at least 3 or 4 upto 15 girls, classy looking, foot massage chairs downstairs and rooms upstairs, has a cashier and possibly even a falang couple having their feet rubbed. Here there are two options, oil or Thai. Oil means there will be extras available, and any of the women area available, although its unlikely they will take their clothes off and full sex is an unlikely option. Thai means (firstly there will a be a look of dissapoitment on the massage girls faces if you take this option) as this involves some knowledge and not every girl will be put forward for this. You have to wear a robe and the chances of a 'tommy tank' are unlikely, full sex is pretty much off the cards.

Health massage places to me seem like a bit of a scam and have often seen younger lads working in them, not sure what goes on in these and has not frequented them.

  3. Lets not be too harsh on the Thai leaders, all of the despots from the last 50 years have all had meetings or been entertained by leaders of western countries.

There's always money and deals to be made and Thailand sees this as an opportunity not sure why anyone would be surprised, business is business at the end of the day.

Majority of Thai people don't know or care about the war / invasion in Ukraine just as they are unaware of all the other atrocities that occur in other countries around the world on a daily basis,

Why so negative about those that have bought homes, condos here and live here full time. I have never seen you say anything positive about folks living here.  Did you have a terrible experience or something?

Ive lived there and will live there again but its the same old posters writing the same thing on this dual pricing.

Ive never heard of anyone complaining about the prices in Thailand only on this forum from people who would probably never go to these parks even if the price was the same for everyone.

Also i dont understand why people appear to think they have some sort of rights to the country that they have decided to live in. I just think most people really overlook the cultural differences between the countries ethics and ideals and think they have some sort of god given right to have the same respect and conditions as the national people.

Ive seen people being disrespectful to Thailand and its conditions and trust me they wont necessarily call you out on it but be sure they will remember. It wont do you any favours.

I remember they lowered the entry bar. Literally. The previous height requirement was brought down and the number of brain cells required was also lowered to enable those without a university degree to apply.

Pretty sure there's no correlation between height and potential for addiction to yabba / meth.

Ive never met many policemen with a university degree!

I think the only qualification is to increase and recycle the ammount of drugs currently in production / circulation.

  6. Binance, Coinbase, Gemini, Crypto.com are the largest exchanges where you can buy crypto currencies, all work in Europe although in Thailand i'm not sure whats the best to set up.

Centralized wallet just refers to keep your coins on the exchange you brought from, 'fine' with the big ones but smaller ones its better to withdraw to another wallet that you have control over.

Personally i would only invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum but prices are pretty low all things considered.

Coins like doge and chainlink could well go up and perhaps worth a punt.

Years ago, I didn't realize how many girls come to Thailand from Laos, only to sell themselves.  Then COVID hit and my Thai guy friends said all the girls went back to Laos.  Entire bars where I lived only had girls from Laos........and they all shut down after COVID hit.

It's sad, because it gives Laos a bad name and Thais think they are better than Laotians because of this.....I wonder if Thais go to Loas and do the same thing?  I'm not sure, actually.

Anyhow, bust all the underage ones....sure.......but give the legal girls work permits!!!!  They want to help the Thai economy!!!

Laos / Issan is pretty much the same type of people, they are linked closer than to that of Thai people.

    I tried this method earlier

    and got this response

From MAGNA CARTER The process is as follows:

First, we need to value the property for a fee of 4,500 THB and then we receive a report giving us the property value, also checking that it's legal.

Once we have that report, we can lend from 50-60% of the value of the property.

The terms of the loan is as follows:

    1)      Period from 6 months up to 5 years.

    2)      Interest is 12% per year. The first 6 months interest are taken up front then it can be paid monthly.

    3)      The loan is secured by way of a registered mortgage on the property. The ownership of the property stays in the owner’s name.

    4)      There is a government fee of 1.1% to be paid (from the total of the loan) for the registering of the mortgage at the land office.

We charge a one time fee of 5% of the value of the loan being the set up fee and for us arranging the funds and to make sure the lender is secured through the transaction.

Apart from the valuation fee of 4,500THB all the other fees can be deducted from the loan amount.

Would not go anywhere near that proposal.

Why do you need another property?

  9. I had about 6,000 thb  taken from my shorts by some little kids whilst walking down walking street at 6am one morning.

Luckily a Thai lady had seen the crime ( I was totally unaware that i had been pickpocketed) and after a short discussion i had my money back any was told by the Thai women that they were Cambodian kids.

Weird thing is straight after the theft the kids just sat on the kerb, hence why i was able to get the money back from the kind lady that saw the theft.

Yes it costs 20 k to open and 20k to close a company.

    Why are you panicking?

When you acquire a company all of the shares are giving to you and who ever has a share already signed it over in your name!

Sure there are stories about people losing the house(company)but i have never met a person who had this happen.

The government accepts the book keeping yearly and as  long as they do,why worry?

Yes you can chance the nominees at any time, but why would you?

When i was organising the formation of the company, the lawyer would be on hand every hour of the day, never too much trouble, once i paid the money i couldn't get hold of her at all.

This went on for weeks later still received nothing relating to the company and i finally bumped into her and her phone had not been working! It had she had just been ignoring me.

I asked the property developer who was selling the houses if she could help find the lawyer as it was her that had recommended her. She said it has nothing to do with her.

Then eventually the lawyer told me that the property developer and her family were the other shareholders, I then asked the developer why she failed to mention that she was the shareholder? No response other that you can trust us.

Within a day or two of this, i was then confronted by a local women who worked in a restaurant, who threatened to kill me if i did not leave Thailand. I sort of knew the women and was suprised that i had been apparently been talking <deleted> about her. The property developer had told this women some rubbish that i had been talking badly ( I hardly knew the women concerned just used to say hello when i saw her) and was ready to shoot me if i stayed there any longer there! Bit strange i thought as i had never said good or bad about this women and he was she was spitting and calling me all names under the sun!

One of the local farangs saw what was happening in this 'verbal attack' me and later confirmed that this women had previously attacked a local french men with a samurai sword.

Hmmm i was getting the feeling they don't want me to own this house. I should add this was all pre covid lockdown.

Then there is the possibility of keeping the ownership any actual structures seperate and usufructs.

I told them to close the company down (bearing in mind after paying for the formation of the co. and 2 months later i still had actually seen no paperwork, nothing) however they said I had to pay another 20k thb to shut it down. More money lol!

Very shady story, which is why it's best to buy a condo in foreign quota

Never been a fan of condos but understand that ownership is more straightforward.

It certainly has got alot shadier as ive found out as time has gone on. Probably best not to write about it on a public forum.

Ive looked into going to court but it seems there is no such thing as a small claims type of court in Thailand.

Been told that is will cost a few thousand dollars just to get a judge to look at the case and then if they dont feel thats is necessary to move forward then it wont even get to court and you lose that money.
