  1. I didnt mean Chumpon as an alternative, just mentioned as a reference between.
  2. Never had any of that when I visited there, but yes, crowded in the weekends because it is in close reach from Bangkok. Week days is more quiet, and there is some quality homes there to rent or buy as well Bangpra Sriracha.
  3. Most of all, it is about op and where he finely finds an connection and feel home. Do not rush it, since your opinion might change after first impression, and years later, feel the need to relocate.
  4. Agree, many fine places all the way down to Chumphon, just the matter of picking one. Ban Huay Yang is one of them for retirees
  5. Just remember the air quality is horrible 4 months a year in Nakhon Sawan and Phitsanulok. If you want decent air, southern provinces with more rain is to prefer, and the last years heat inland, have been horrible as well. Lived many places in Thailand, and best quality life is either an Island or around the beaches.
  6. They are more fertile, and often pregnant after first visit. Philippines is great, Dumaguette is a great place to settle and have as base.
  7. Nakhon Sawan very small expat network, but if do not need, then Nakhon Sawan is ok, except air quality. Kanchanaburi is good for living, but horrible air quality as well. Cha Am or Hua Hin 3 hours, is good, but some complain about airquality, I never experienced to bad air the 3 years I lived there. Ao nang Krabi can be great, but rain season can be harshly
  8. Bang Saen beach 80km from Suvarnabhumi. Perfect place for a relaxed life.
  9. @Gweiloman The one and only winner is China!
  10. Im talking pre crimea and Donbass boarder conflict. Ukraine can not Join Nato as long there is an ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
  11. Maybe the reason for russians to keep the conflict going to make sure they would not join Nato. Background information of Ukraine working for Nato membership. Relations between Ukraine and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) started in 1991 following Ukraine's independence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.[1] Ukraine first joined NATO's Partnership for Peace program in 1994, later joining the Planning and Review Process in 1997 and the NATO-Ukraine Commission in 1998. Although Ukraine initially declared neutrality and non-alignment with military blocs after independence,[2] it later signaled interest in eventual NATO membership. After Russia's annexation of Crimea and support for separatist forces in eastern Ukraine in 2014, Ukraine began actively pursuing NATO membership, formally declaring it a strategic policy objective in 2017.[3 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukraine–NATO_relations
  12. Israel going to win. Every Israeli supporter will give max public votes they are allowed to, and therefor most likely they will win. " 20 times Each jury submits their result to the EBU and its official voting partner Digame via a highly secured system, as well as by fax. Viewers can submit their vote by phone call, SMS or via the official app. They can vote up to 20 times."
  13. Non of these stores follow the orign idea and law, so what to epect?
  14. Sweeden or Ukraine
  15. That guy in Koh Samui was wrong! Period! This English guy is wrong, end of story!
  16. I do not want to prefict anything, more using the available historic facts when it comes to earlier interventions, and economic embargos. This war is totally different because Zelenskyj decided to stay, and not run! Now we/they Usa and Eu have to finish what we started! Continue to support Ukraine as long they want to fight. Putin is in for the long run, and will not give up the new boarders or Crimea, unless The Russians replace him! China have time, and will wait until the right time to start their move in the South China sea. They have no rush.
  17. Do people know what they really want, and if they do, do they strive to get it? The majority of people have their heads in Meta and Tik Tok or other social media, often called their heads up where the sun never shines! Giving up Ukraine as continuing the slaughters is both wrong, but as long this war have more than two parts with interests, ceasefire is still a long shot away. If this was just about Ukraine and Russia, the war would had been over after months. Based on Georgia war which lasted 16 days only.
  18. Speed and power is good
  19. You can get trapped with scooters, I have seen it several times. It is all about skills and luck and an food angel wouldnt hurt. We live today, and die another day
  20. Talking about safety? Rather take my chances on a big bike
  21. If you cant drive motorbike, or dont trust yourselves, neither see the risk versus the gain, dont do it. Had my best time in Thailand on motorbikes, wouldn't change that for anything. Met quite few I regularly rode with (40 -50 people at least), and as far I know, none of those crashed yet, or been in serious accidents. We talking people with 100 of thousands of km experience on thai roads. However at least or more than 10 people I have met have died of alcholism or poor general health because of their lifestyle. We talking about people below 70 years. And several others, continue their slow suicide bored to death, living the "dream in paradise" Anyway, motorbike is not for all, and if there was riders we saw as a risk, we never rode with them again.
  22. If you easily offended, or in any way socially disturbed, follow Kamelas advise, Thailand is not for you
  23. Who wants sex with an old man? Girls is the same, just business when they do
