  1. Im still young and hansume, but Im also married, and not chasing women anymore
  2. I prefer women who I believe most likely find me attractive as an sex partner, rather banging one who most likely dispase me. As you so nicely put it, how can a 18 year old like a old wrinkled man, hairy? Beer belly? Smell? True some girls older men, but they also have a limit, professional or not.
  3. Not so much for those who live in Isaan. My experience expats invest far more in the families than they are asked to do. Personally I feel I get more back than I give. Still, there is many who do not know better, and fall in love with the wrong woman, with problem families. Thats the main mistake.
  4. There is people with a different drive than others, often creative who always finds solutions, and when get bored, find something else. The whole point is not to get stuck. Should be mandatory rule for everyone no matter where you settle in Thailand. I rather live in Isaan than Pattaya or Bangkok, so people are different. Even if I settled on an Island, I think Im better off in Isaan, since we have normal working days, and go for holiday when we feel the need. I almost settled in Hua Hin, but happy I did not spend 10 mill on an appartment there as my plan Was. Instead invested 2 mill in my wife total for farm, land, and have the freedom to travel whenever we want. But as said, there comes a day I will move somewhere else. When I do not know, but the plan is 15 years or so more in Isan with 4-6 months a year in Thailand. Also due to the new tax regulations. Not going to happen I pay tax on my savings I transfer to Thailand.
  5. Who said I was angry? And you still do not get the rel problem here, which is lack of respect in public in front of families with small children!
  6. Oh my, to good to be true, but I have same experiences, except from mid february beginning of march when the heat sets in, and the fire show starts until august - september. There is good days between, but the longer I stay, the more affected I became of the clima and burning. We always travelled often in Thailand, but now Im travelling frequently more back home to escape the heat. Family and village people are friendly, never had one bad incident, or any problem. Best thing no close neighbours, but still affected when there is funerals, budda days, weddings, and other celebrations and parties which goes on for days. with Two big shopping days a month I get what I need from Makro and Tops. Which is a roundtrip of 180km But living like this is not for everybody, even Im born on a farm, it is not a walk in the park. If you do not have any interests and get up in the morning, it is easy to be bored to death. Motorbikes, large well equippet home gym, farm work, animals and travels make life better and more interesting. Still Im making a plan for after my 70'ies, or when I know my time is up in Isaan to make a move. Where I do not know yet, since things can change before that. Most important, do not get stuck
  7. Do you agree there is a huge difference from 16 to 20? And maybe less from 20 to 24?
  8. I didnt expect to find any understanding for my points, and thats why this tread already is 12 pages to long. Older men who defend older men who choose younger women way below their weight! Not surprised thinking of many I personally have met in Thailand, and experienced their view on women in grneral, and learn were they come from, both culturally and class, as well lifestyle. 40 year pluss men marry 16 - 20 years poor women! Go figure
  9. Some thai women is stigmatized by social status, skin colour, mental challenged and find it easier to chase foreigners either by prostitution or other channels. Comparing that to a white privileged woman?
  10. Did they need someone to provide for them?
  11. Many of those attracted to celebs like Pacino and Jagger is often educated, creative and have their own career
  12. I had the Irish contribution on my very last place, if that is any comfort 😁
  13. This is how the majority of expats who find very young girls from the poorer districts see themselves. As Al Pacino and Mick Jagger.
  14. You dont get it do you? I feel sorry for you!
  15. I think it is a good valid information, if there where the majority of the straight or gay public or both who it affected. Obviously this stage show didnt fancy the public, same as the norwegian contribution who attended last. Professional musicians at last place.
  16. To gay? Not possible for eurovision, it is a or have become the most gay music festival/show on the planet. Just look back on the history. If even the gay audience was put off by their stage show and song, then the gay community was the ones who turned their back to it, not the straight.
  17. Ole had a good relationship with Haaland before he went abroad, guided, trained, and mentored him. Unfortunate Haaland had grown to big for United at the time. Solskjær did call United the year before and told them to buy Haaland, but at that time they said they had enough talents. So The owners can just blaim themselves and not Solskjær. I dont think Haaland would play next to Ronaldo when that opportunity came if I remember right, and Ronaldo already had made his comeback at the time.
  18. I would not sign anything, I would not accept anything before I knew what possible charges was presented in written english. Cant see op had any wrong doing here, if the motorbike came from behind, and should had driven carefully when passed you getting off the motorbike taxi. Not guilty
  19. I cant answer if Haaland would had fit as good as he did at City with united, but I think everyone could see he was on to something before Ronaldo came back.
  20. Been Manchester United fan since I was 8 years okd, but when Solskjær got "fired", I stopped following them. Im sure if Solskjær got rid of Ronaldo, he would had succeeded.
  21. It is a problem when it is presented as the miracle drug, and it becomes "legal" over the night without any further guidelines. Introducing potent weed to a totally new group of people who most likely never would had used it if it was not "legalized" as it have been now, which hae led to abuse and neglecting the original idea of sale and use, which was legalized for medical use and not recreational use.
  22. Have passed through here a few times, and it looks promissing. Close to airport, a few good resorts and bars/restaurants. Close to Chumphon, and nice driving to the westcoast and further south. Could be a good base. 30km from city and 24km from airport https://maps.app.goo.gl/BXsj3EbHenkBcnyg9
  23. If you have no connection inland or gf/wife with connection, moving to any city will be dificult for many reasons. Just for the experience, can be good, but larger investments I would be careful to do. For now I live part time in Isaan, but living there after my 70'ies, I do not think I will do. I will rather invest in something more central with fresh breeze of air from the sea. As long I hae energy and interest to work on the farm, I feel I have a decent life on the farm. But without my gym, the animals, motorbikes, and budget to travel often both in Thailand, and also "home" I would had gone nuts. You will need something that keeps your life interesting and something that gives value. Very few manage to have quality interactions with locals, so you are depended on a good and healthy expat environment and a very good relation with gf/wife/partner and with a life partner the whole family comes with a package for good or bad. Red flags can be girls who say they have no relations with their family, or to strong bond with their family including siblings, aunties and uncles with more. Grown up kids as well.
  24. You can do better than this Georgy. Loneliness makes people interact with the wrong people.
