I was going to write a summery of a documentary from Greenland where they both drilling back in time and bringing Ice cores back up from 45 000 years ago and also measuring ice loss. Greenland alone stand for 1/3 of the rise of sea level. Land ice like glaciers etc contributed with another of a third of the sealevel rise. Both Antartica and Greenland loosing massively ice every year. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/article/sea-level-rise-1 Anyway, it is up to you to believe or not. Not my problem, I got another 30 years maybe, then off and not leaving any offspring behind me. I have done my share!

Im afraid the world political situation will not allow a sober solution to our future problems at the same time the space race just had a kick off and everyone want a piece of it! Most people is not willing to give up comfort in trade of economically beneficial solutions and also consume less. Not only do the population growing, but we consume more calories because we are growing taller and also getting heavier. At the same time we consume more rare metals for more efficient energy consuming products. My parents was the first generation in our family who had refrigerator, washing machine and tv! Today how many things do you need to call it a home? Asia just become half of worlds population, and India will surplus China this year. Asias economy require a growt faster and higher than any western country, who used 50 - 70 years on getting the majority or 70% of their population Above the UN poverty line. Those who live will know!

The only good with windmills they are costly, needs service and parts and help to keep the economic turn around and give jobs, while tax payers pay for infrastructure and subsidization and el companies and stock holders take the turn over. Windmills needs huge areas and kills insects and birds as well creates noise pollution. In worst case windmills can damage the ecosystem. Windmills is expensive (edit note) dirty energy. Bio diesel need land erea we could keep our forrests and grow food.

Some of the solutions to the climate changes is speculatice and suspecious if not pure stupidity. Bio Diesel? Windmills? and ineffective Solar systems? Spending, exploiting and consuming more to stop climate changes?

Another thing to consider, are you on a outer bend of the river? And is the river a natural walled river or have they done any reinforcment to it? If you are on a outer bend, the river will continue to digg in to your borders and finely cave in little by little. If it is straight, them it is not that crucial depending on if its a wide section of the river or a more narrow one.

As a few said, do not buy land that is flooding. Anyway if the price of the land and the location is right for you and your wife, then go ahead, and study drainage for the land and build with a 100 year flooding scenario in back of your mind. It is just the matter of how much you are willing to pay to secure it. Price for two rai and what title do the land have? If not chanote, why even bother?

What a sweet thought, wy dont we just all love each other and put the wepons down? No more police, no more army? well everything is just fine until your neighbour play loud music, smoke on his balcony, build his fence one inch in to your land, and his dog ate your chicken! Jepp, we will just love each other when the Chineese roll overvus with more cheep polluting plastic and we loose all our jobs. Well they already did that, and we paying the price for their cheep <deleted> polluting our oceans.

I met a Sweede in Ao Nang in 2006, and he was ripped off by a bar girl all his insurance money and savings. He was left only with his disability pension after built her a decent house on big land where he thought he would live happily rest of his life. I met him and he told his story, and at same time proudly told me he was living for free with a new bar lady who still worked bar, and I just felt sorry for her living with this bitter man, exploiting her and give nothing in return except from his bitterness.

Unfortunate people are to stupid, simple and greedy to manage to pull in same direction without illusionary images, sugar and spank!
-
It is all about economic power, without economic power, no growt, and people will overturn their goverment and a shift in power will occur. Anyone see China is becoming the new power and the west loosing? The whole point of making people pull in sane direction and common ground?

Short legs gives him very few options when it comes to choices.

ever heard about a man admitting he raped a woman? I even heard someone say, she asking for it, for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. The way she dress, there is no doubt, and entertaining men for a evening, case closed! Even a bar girl, have the right to say no, even you paid her to follow you home! Or, did I get it wrong?
-
Im sure no one here ever had a black out on alchohol and willing to admit they had a black out? And some of those who had a black out, deleted up their night, reputation and was ashamed after, and a few <deleted> up their life? It happens, and when a woman tells her story, she deserve to be heard, same as the rich man is innocent to guilt proven! Why is it so hard for some to accept simple things like that? Instead you guys put blaim on the woman whos story is second hand information, or most likely third hand through the police.

Well I do often go between north, south, east and west, so transfer routes is sometimes necessary through cities and on highways. I do not find riding in Thailand safecat all, but I feel I can manage, but you know, it only takes one second off guard, and you might be trapped somehow, and as you say, when times is up, ,,,,,,,, just accept it and most importantly be aware.
