In his faver being a boy, a man the whole <deleted>ty rotten media had their eye on since he was a kid, he have been doing quite well. Serving his country in war, been taking part of projects and expeditions to keep focus on veterans and veterans physical and mental health, he have done more for his country than any other whining bas tard. It is more of the psychological aspect of it, and maybe it can prevent covid in a smaller percentage if everybody who had covid without knowing it used a mask. For me it is more respect for my wife when we take taxi or going shopping, enter hotels and in the village. Im not bothered by other Thais not using mask, but most do when they are in public thight areas. I tend to get provoked by some foreigners who do not respect when they are asked politely to wear a mask, and deny it, even if handed a mask, and still do not want to use. walking on the street in Bangkok, Im not wearing mask, neither my wife.

We are rich compare to the poor asians, but compare to the upper middle class in Asia and Thailand, my best guess we are not that rich. The rich Asians is way out there, and not comparable at all.

There is a well know fact some people are attracted to one specific type of humans, and never change environment or pattern. And it goes both ways between the sexes. There is many foreigner houses built in the jungle as stand alone properties, and no Thai I know would ever left their house with no one living there while they are gone. Even with only family around in a village soi, they would not leave their house alone. Another important factor, very few dear to interact if something happens in the neighbourhood after dark, or even call the police out of many reasons. Their mentality is to stay low, and do not interfere. When we built a stand alone farm in the farming fields, the family have stayed her every day and every night, and never left it alone, and thats how it is. Everyone is like that around here, and therefor we never hear about any theft in the neighborhood, only stealing fish and fruit. Some live of others fish and fruit around here, and sell at the marked. Everyone knows they selling what they steals, but nobody do anything about it.

I had my thoughts about it, but you never know what kind of people you get involved with, and become a victim blaimed for missing or broken things. Better to stay away from people you do not know, or select your customers carefully.
