  1. Who wants to use the village ATM’s? Until this year we had only two, and people have been queuing for hours sometimes especially during covid. Finely now they allowed 7/11 and CJ to open up here and we got more options. Everybody have a smartphone, so implementing new payment system is no problem, neither a problem for any marked. Especially fresh markeds where they touch money, and touch food, money food and so on? Im all for handsfree payment, and it will save time for everyone, as well no need to go and deposit money manually anymore.
  2. In many cases or maybe most cases I see both parts views and can argue for more than one point of view, and often find myself in the middle. Now I find the noise to loud, and more or less giving up voicing my views on clima, racism and feminism as all the other he, she, it, them, hen, they or whatever. It is just deleted distraction to keep us busy, and it evolves naturaly without almost any obvious control. People have to many uppertunities and to many choices, and most er angry because their wasted their chances. Social media gave all of them a voice, and here we go as we see today. Internet and Social media seems to kill the best time for the west ever, creating keyboard monsters with lost uppertunities and lost future that threats the democrazy
  3. Except from I rarely keep more than a week spending in cash and I believe most do the same. I do have some gold and other values that will keep me alive for at least 6 months here in Thailand.
  4. Peace through expansion! Is a little bit more correct statement! But to keep peace war is a tool ????
  5. ???? And Irland? Life is good in Norway if you have the foundings and also a second home somewhere else under the sun!
  6. Suits me well, part time Norway and part time Thailand ???? Good combination Switzerland is also a nice country I could settle for 6 months a years as well. Iceland is fun to visit for a week, but christ sake retirement? Well they have a healthy lifestyle and good food and beautiful women. Jumping all the way down to Malta for next possible option.
  7. Already in early 2000 they had a fabulous infrastructure and coverage with cell phones. They never wasted to much time to establish landlines to every home, and compare to many western countries have great coverage throughout most parts of China. If you remove cash, Im sure it will only pave the road for black marked options for trading hand to hand. Usd worked as cash for russians during cold war, even it was forbidden.
  8. Im sure there is elderly here who also is for. Age is not the only reason to be skeptical for new potentially surveillance tools and more big state control. I see both sides of of it, but the future is coming. The arguments against falls back on itself when every developed country in the world using face recognizing cctv, your phone, your apps, your car, your tv, your home central, shopping malls tracking your whereabouts every second. The future is coming for good and bad as it always have done.
  9. It would have been interesting knowing the age who voted for or against. I believe majority here is above 70 and therefor the result we see.
  10. Part of these protest actions make common ground for countries like Qatar, Iran, Russia, and China. Also more “neutral” countries like Thailand, many African countries, Brazil among more (some prominent Italian politicians with power) and force them in to allied agains the “West” There is no doubt this pushing the limits and taking a toll on the polarization of the world. In the big picture alot of wasted energy and possibilities, but for each and one individual who it matters for, I guess a win, and it should be a win for humanity, but its not that easy!
  11. Plenty of underground lab products around Koh Samui pharmacies last time I where there.
  12. Easy to find in pharmacies around tourist areas. Where are you going to be?
  13. Just did three speed tests and Ivacy came out better on all three.
  14. So far so good with Ivacy for all my purposes. A really good offer if it continue like this. Better speed than my Express VPN, and when using my phonecsim as hub at best 20mb line and average 8 it really matters.
  15. Bought Ivacy 60 usd 5 years! Testing now and working well with Discovery Norway, but Viaplay detect the vpn same as they detect Nord and Express. So far so good. Thanks for the tip
  16. That was a great deal. Do you know if they manage viaplay to, and Discovery?
  17. I got an offer now from NordVPN 2 years + 3 months free for 2,69 a month which checks out 69 usd for 27 months. Any other Black week/friday offers?
  18. Seriously? Go back to page one and read what you have constantly repeated and advocated. Again accusing others for being lazy and not objective? It all falls back on your responses who have not provided anything else than false claims. From one extreme to another you base your opinions on, and please read back how many times you mention Omad and how much you advocate for it. This is just pure bull pie and trolling and you know it.
  19. Realistically 2030 is maybe a little to quick, I mean how many times we hear thai goverment deciding something, and it seems impossible for them to implement their new regulations, laws and so many other things, not to forget the chaos when they first do what they decided to do, just saying legalizing medical marijuana ????
  20. One thing that is very much actual for me personally, and it is what kind of airline I choose, and where they come from. That is one way to protest or use your power after you are made aware, but most people do what suits them pest, and give most value for their money especially now after covid, and The Emirates and Qatar is the most convenient airlines at the moment. And Im allowed to say The Golf states is <deleted>ty countries with <deleted>ty human rights. Some say the humans rights is not perfect in Thailand either, but truth is, Thailand so much better off than most countries in the world like it or not. A few major dont do, but except from that the best dictatorship in the word.
  21. You where right and a good reminder to always double check what you think you remember of history. The world most of us have been born in to have developed so quick that we really do not remember what our grandparents believed in and what they stood for. Most of what I remember from my grandmother is just bright and positive, but she was an to a degree extreme christian and clear and disciplined when it came to morality we really do not want to associate us with today.
  22. Just back from Spain, and they have most places a flawless system without delay, and multiple choices how to pay electronicle even on the markeds. Future coming to Thailand also, and can not stop it.
  23. voted For I love to just swipe the card and only once and awhile need to press the pin code, or using a bank app tranfer. Money is a hassel to carry around as well dirty.
  24. If you read my replies, and answered my questions instead of claiming you rely on science we still wait for you to provide instead of degrading us. The latest comment “Anyway it was nice debating with you even if we didn't really communicate in a meaningful way” is really not necessary when you avoiding every common sense question asked, and hiding behind your science we still havent seen. My critic is based on common sense, previous scientific researches based on Omad, where they find long term Omad is not healthy neither sustainable out of many reasons and should not be promoted as healthy and sustainable. Im totally fine with you describing your system, and you are happy with your lifestyle diet as long you feel good about it, but it is not for everybody. I already feel the effect as expected but physically and mentally, and a big factor is the decission I made about making the change it self. A little placebo effect. The craving is gone and waking up feeling full. I have done keto with cheating before, because Im not giving up my oat maels in the morning, and had the same effect and feeling as now. The good thing, it doesnt need to be extreme to get result, just a tiny bit dicipline and motivation. The hardest things for most people, is to sacrifice their little everyday treats or maybe drinking habits. I love wine and dining a few times a week, and also a cold beer after a nice long ride with the motorbike, which is my bottle neck for being sustainable, so therefor I have quit those treats because they lead to cravings. For most this is the real problem to succeed, because it is a social thing and part of peoples life to have small well deserved treats in life to feel better.
  25. Before 1972, you could not live together if you where not married in Norway, so it have changed little by little for the better. The Hippie culture changed the world, but did everyone welcome the protests or was it seen as the protesters wecsee today? I also enclose another historic photo of Jesse Owens. »Cohabitation (formerly concubinage or undocumented marriage) was not permitted in Norway until 1972, when the so-called concubinage clause, Section 379 of the Criminal Code, was repealed. Cohabitation was therefore relatively uncommon in Norway until approx. 1970 and was only practiced by very liberal people, preferably in artistic circles. Those who lived in cohabitation did this throughout their lives. They were also often in outspoken rebellion against the church and conservative values. During and after the youth uprisings in 1968 (also, among other things, the hippie culture) there was an increase in cohabitation among young people. The most common term was "paperless marriage" (oldest hit in Aftensposten's archive in 1971), while "cohabitation" became a more common term later (oldest hit in the same archive in 1983). In the beginning it was perceived (and was probably often intended) as a rebellion against conservative values. The argument was often that the love between two people only concerned the two of them and did not concern the church, public authorities and other institutions (hence "paperless"). Cohabitation was also often referred to as "trial marriage", which was relatively descriptive as most cohabitants, unlike in the past, chose to marry after a few years or if they had children» source wikipedia norewgian translated by google.
