  1. The same happenend to us, do not remember what we ending up paying, but it was not to much. I think I made a thread here about it just to ask if someone else experienced the same.
  2. Personally I would do if I had a kid, and someone did this to my child, second, I still do not understand the point of your post connecting this to a world phenomen thing, it happens everywhere? Countries like Thailand have been a magnet to child abusers, and good to see some actions is being done by the locals and hope they continue to good work
  3. Never experienced crime against me or my family in Norway or Thailand. Have seen some foreigners being beaten up in tourist areas, and non of them was sober. So, my best guess, they where drunk and stupid. Seen a few Thais in fights against each other. The useally more than 2 against one style! Heard the neighbour wife of my parents in law got beaten up by her husband. children of alcholics and yaba users fail to take care of their kids, which is the worst crime of all in my eyes, not being able to protect their kidsk, and nobody do anything. The worst thing about Thailand, nobody do anything, and everybody mind their own business. Cant say anything and not do anything, and those who should be there to protect you, do nothing. Talking about the police and other instances who should protect their own population from themselves and others.
  4. No punishments can cure child abusers, and the only known tool working is removing them from kids permantly.
  5. Not often I have used the confused emotion, but, seriously, what do you mean by this post?
  6. Some poeple like to work becauese they enjoy it, have hobbies and a good wife they care for. Simple as that. Its all about the contrasts making life interesting
  7. Stamp is an impressive full contact champion
  8. Im slow compare to her, so I will not catch if she dance, and her stamina will be greater, so she have to come at me, and do a mistake. She can kick my calves until I cant stand anymore, and from there a few elbows, Im done. Boxing, she have no chance, and not grapling either.
  9. Nobody should retire before they have to 😉 I semi retired at 47, but think I will do some work as long I can!
  10. I have seen her with her nunchacko and her stick and sword, for sure would marked me well with those.
  11. Kicking the balls, is not normal in combat sports, and rearly used in street fights even. A 40 - 45 kg girl can be very good technical, but do not have much power. But a well trained experienced 120lbs or 55 kg man, I would be careful to go full contact with.
  12. At 100kg, 55 and some background in combat sports, I think I have a fair chance. I think Still hitting the bag, and advanced lifter, so not just fat.
  13. My very first trip in North Sea offshore on an oil rig, I was cleaning every deck from top to bottom with an high pressure washer and I loved it 😄 Call it crazy, but it was the start of something great 😉
  14. I have used Safety Wing several times, to supplement my other travel insurance which is limited to 75 days. SW cover big bike riding in Thailand, and seems like a solid insurer with solid backing. But you need an abroad official adress where you are registered, you cant have an thai adress, and be insured in Thailand. For Me who travel back and forth, travel insurance is ok, pluss additional private health insurance in my country, as well part of the public health care.
  15. Love Kuala Lumpur, great international kitchen and decent prices.
  16. At least good to be reminded once a day, how I do not want to become when I get older.
  17. Oh, so what was a question now 🤓 Clever boy
  18. I thought a communist controlled place comes under the term totalitarian as I mentioned in my post!
  19. Clever and helpful as always 😉 Have a good sunday eve
  20. Back in the days there were less vendors who were involved in foreign tourism, Thai baht was cheaper, we had lower expectations, and we were more happy, as we were more happy, the locals were more happy. Not really science BR! That's my experience Thailand was more grateful for the tourists before than now. Especially after The Tsunami The girls was not spoiled, had no social media creating false expectations, and Cheap mike (before Charlie) had a much larger range of cheap women and cheap offers. Now he competes with abdulla and zing zing
  21. I know one resort owner who have waited two years for his x wife to sell! We talking about 12 million investment, sale price 20, now 12, and still not sold. Always a buyer, and almost sold, and not happening, and he is stuck there waiting for his payday. And I guess it is all his savings he invested.
  22. Sometimes it is just better to leave things behind. I decided whatever happens, If Im leaving my wife, I pack up my truck and my motorbike and leave, and never look back. What I invested in her, is hers. Of course it would had been different if we lived more central, higher value on land and houses. I havent invested more than I can leave behind with no regret. Principle and revenge just waste of energy and time.
  23. Village farm land with or without chanote? The problem selling farm land locally is price. I seen same land for sale for years, and not sold before dumped the price.
