Making friends in Thailand is best done where you feel "home", doing activities. If playing pool, dart or golf, thats your "home", then you have fitness, motorbiking/touring, bicycle, chess, gaming, diving, climbing kayaking, sup, or just go and find your breakfest club, you see them every morning to afternoon drinking beer and solving latest world problems on a high level 😉

A long post with many good points, A woman who works in decent jobs, is tied up at work, and has little or no spare time for a man who is not working in Thailand. And who also comes for holiday to visit their gf/wife who is also working, means they just have to sit around and can't do much of anything, other than waiting. For some that is a dream situation. For me who travels frequently, that was not an option for me, and when I first met one who I actually clicked with, checked all my boxes, and there were not a few boxes actually there was nothing to think of. I find it quite provoking some members calling every woman out as prostitutes, but then on that. Usually members who do have a great deal of experience with prostitutes or are just ignorant and all their experiences are based on Bangkok books only. Where do girls meet western men in Thailand? Tourist places, and of course every girl who finds a man in tourist places got to be a hooker. Another thing, if a girl goes with a man, most of them, if not a cheap charlie who thinks he is a gift to the women, will drop them money on the way out, if not agreed on up front. Do we create hookers, or are they hookers ? Sometimes obvious, sometimes not I had quite a few girls being ashamed. I dropped them money, when I thought they were freelancers, and some of them obviously wanted to play the long game with, and some not. They were Bangkok girls just out for having some fun, others were already sponsored, and for some reasons would like to have me hang around for a while. Of course back when I Was young and handsome, now only old and hansume. It aint all black and white, even you like to think so, and the most important detail, it is all about what you think is best for you, and your reasons to think that's best for you. Nothing else. I really do not need to defend my choice, why I picked a girl who previously was dumped by her foreigner bf, who had promised her a bright future, who ran off with a younger one at once when she hit her 30ìes. At least he did a great job, teaching her language, swim, behave, drink wine, be a good gf and teach her to be very grateful for those who paid her respect, and for not drinking too much, or party with the other boys several days a week. After all we are all a product of our earlier experiences.
