Peer reviews, means other scientists have done their own research, maybe used different numbers and methods, to prove the very same results, and if can not, then try again, but if it matches then it is good science. So if you can not trust peer reviewed science, we are in trouble, but still, common sense is still valid, until it is proved wrong,
