If you are here on a marriage extension yes you can use the govt hospitals,the doctors are the same as in the private hospitals,( they have to do time in govt hospitals weekly) the difference is that where in the private hospital you walk in no waiting in govt hospitals its busier and longer waits. But they are far far far cheaper,believe me ,i have spent time in both, Ps add another far to those first three.

Yes Thailand has changed but at least it is still full of Thai people,my old home town in the UK was once a nice working class town with a few factories and a few immigrants ,now no factories ,the town is full of women covered all over ,men in clothes i only used to see in Bangladesh when i visited. There are drug gangs from places like Rumania and African countrys ,hardly any of the old indigenous people . To be blunt its now a well starts with sh and ends in hole,and that was over 2 years ago when we went back for a few weeks. The way things seem there now you dare not say most things in case your classed some sort of " ist" no thanks i will end my days here where things are still normal. Also in the last month a boy was stabbed to death outside my daughters old school and a drug gang fight ended in a death . Oh how Britain has changed.

I never buy imported frozen meals so dont know the costs ,some imported things like marmite have gone up a bit but honestly as we eat mainly Thai food i have not really noticed much of a rise in costs,

Been married 25 years,i was in business in BKK used to come over about every 2 months,we used to take clients to a restaurant that had a stage with singers and comedians etc etc, i noticed my future wife was using a computer and our secretary who was computer literate had left. Long story short her sistets father in law owned the place,i asked if she would help out in our office untill we could find someone who could use a computer ,anyway she helped us out for 3 wks ,we started seeing each other,a year later we married in the UK . Still going strong.

I know 3 guys from my old home town who come to Pattaya for " the fun" as nothing is open they are not going to come even if there is no quarantine ,my daughter snd family will come just to see us,but there is nothing to do , so why would most people bother to come to Thailand?

Just started watching the last episode of Grantchester, about a country vicar who helps a copper Robson Green solve crimes ,just switched off its just gone so " woke" its the 1950s in the country,now its got a black trainee vicar , an ex gay vicar in prison and just now a black maid opens the door to a country house and the rich white guy there is married to a black woman ,just changing history ,why do they do it?

It must be very comforting to think that when you die you will be reunited with your loved ones and sit down with Jesus,mind you it must be very crowded around him as so many people die every day. Lets face it since time began there has been religion ,from worshiping the moon ,and the likes of Odin up untill The one God was thought up. Still it kept the people under control i reckon.

Well when i had my heart attack i went to Chanburi govt heart hospital ,i had great service ,all my tests etc at a reasonable price and all my meds very cheap ,compared to Samitavit Sri racha private hospital 1 baby asprin 27 baht,no wonder it cost 52k for one night. Mind you Pattaya Banglamung govt hospital was not good.

Hi Just a quick one ,when i do my 60 day update of my bank book for marrige extention,does it matter if it was 62 or 63 days or does it have to be exactly 60 days thanks.

I must have been lucky ,born after the war,never went without ,lived in a nice house,went to a nice school, then grammer school,had a good job at 18,was not very good at my school work so no uni for me. Off to London at 20 had a nice bedsit and a good job. I am not looking with rise tinted specs but life has always been good . Mind you had heart probs quite young.
