  1. Driving a vehicle in Thailand is an adventure. We never know what might happen. Keeps the heart beating and senses working overtime.
  2. I can't think of an instance where a vaccine was forced into anyone. Yes, people were encouraged, cajoled, implored and so on, but not once has anyone tied someone down and forced the needle in.
  3. Everything Kennedy says cannot be trusted. His misinformation is the stuff of legend. As a recovering heroin addict and liar his own family does not recommend he propose himself a presidential candidate. https://www.factcheck.org/2023/11/scicheck-rfk-jr-incorrectly-denies-past-remarks-on-vaccine-safety-and-effectiveness/ https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2024-06-20/robert-kennedy-addict-reform-plans https://www.annenbergpublicpolicycenter.org/fact-checking-presidential-candidate-robert-f-kennedy-jr-on-vaccines-autism-and-covid-19/ .
  4. I was waiting for someone to say what about this or what about that, like "what about black lives matter?" What about all the KKK lynches? Different courts, different judgements I guess.
  5. I was vaccinated and, when I tested positive, felt no serious effects. As a kid I had vaccines against polio, measles, and other childhood diseases and never was sick. I have read people seriously say that Bill Gates put microchips into vaccines to track people, without thinking that they have mobile phones that do it quite nicely thank you. I simply don't believe non-scientists making wild guesses based on internet gossip..
  6. It's women's lingerie. Women buy that stuff. They used models they thought would attract the type of women in their target group. Probably won't work. Thank goodness Martina wasn't chosen.
  7. As someone over 60 with diabetes I fart in the general direction on those who pretend it is like a cold.
  8. He should claim immunity. Umm, it works elsewhere.
  9. Betting the government will see green energy as a source of tax revenue.
  10. Not sure why tourism is mentioned. The signs are in Thai and the pictures of dead people doesn't worry password by.
  11. What the worst that could happen? His doctor fails him on a cognitive test then he steps down and Kamala holds the fort until November. He has a stroke and Kamala becomes president for a few months. She either stands for election or the Democratic Party chooses someone else. A new candidate comes forward to stand in the election. If he wins, Biden is out anyway.
  12. I still think a canal would be better over the long term. Unloading, then loading again sounds cost ineffective. Overland has got to be more expensive.
  13. I assume that normally the police would be discreet. It says something that this poor girl has to tell the whole of the country what happened just to embarrass the police to take some action.
  14. I don't think they ever consider you Thai - Race and accent are a dead giveaway. Thais are very kind and often say, "Oooh, your Thai is very good." But it doesn't make you Thai. I was listening to an interview in Thai with Bruce Gaston and was shocked when I looked at the screen and saw he was a westerner. Native-level Thai. Having a Thai passport doesn't make anyone think you are Thai.
  15. Another industry that is not human resources driven. Educating the youth might create more jobs in technical areas. Since when is Thailand at the centre of ASEAN? Every major country is southeast of Thailand. Jakarta is much more central than Bangkok. Thailand provides secure, low-risk conditions with international standard digital regulations, does it? Didn't a big bomb just go off in Yala? The market is growing? Really?
  16. Off topic a bit. Has anyone noticed that no one cries it is BMW's (or any other car manufacturer's) fault for the accident, stop blaming the drivers; that the manufacturers overproduce cars and need to be held responsible for all the deaths they cause? No? But that's exactly what they say about plastic bottles. 🤔
  17. Digitizing the paper residence certificates so that they are linked to a passport or passport owner is making more sense. That way, it wont be necessary to go to immigration to get a reentry permit but get one online and that is linked immediately to the passport holder. Should speed everything up at the airport.
  18. Now that Biden is protected by the Supreme Court for official hits against an enemy of the people, time to call SEAL Team 6.
  19. I still don't understand how anyone can be prosecuted for something they haven't done yet. Yes, the MFP had said it will make adjustments to the lese majeste law, but have not done that yet. Perhaps wait until MFP is the government before bringing the case? It all sounds like a thought crime today.
  20. I second that question. Haven't been out the country for a year but the machines used to take just the passport with a little sticker. Just guessing that as the passport needed no stamp the white book didn't need one.
  21. If found guilty she should be imprisoned. I suppose she could be slippery if as viscous as someone mentioned, so dry her off first.
