  1. Jobs have been lost since COVID and more people are in debt. Hardly surprising if the crime rate rises. Create jobs. Train skills.
  2. Unfortunately, you are correct. 🙄
  3. Farage is still a wally. But then, Labour has no charismatic leader of its own. Undoubtedly, Labour looks like a clear winner-takes-all party but goodness knows how they will solve the country's economic problems. The NHS is the jewel in Britain's crown but nobody seems to have a cunning plan.
  4. Well, this is strange. People complaining about something America does that they would love to see happen in Thailand. Green card for a Thai wife in America? Why no permanent residence for the husband of a Thai in Thailand?
  5. Over the past decade both the public, and importantly politicians, have failed to grasp that once they do something illegal on video, it is available forever. While there is some trepidation about the abundance of phone cameras and CCTV it can help to solve a lot of crime and show voters how idiotic some of their politicians are
  6. Dr. Fauci is retired and so far no one has the evidence to try him for crimes. Let him be.
  7. Sounds reasonable but would have liked to know about counter arguments from opposition parties (if any).
  8. How did they break into the room safe without waking him up?
  9. Thaksin's alleged criminal case occurred in the past and was presumably done as charged. MFP hasn't actually done anything and allegations of their plans exclude the possibility they might change their plans.
  10. Just cancel the money giveaway. There must be another use for government funds during a period of high household debt.
  11. Police should check their ID cards. If correct date of birth given, arrest the customers.
  12. Diesel generators to recharge EVs.
  13. 1. Democracy: a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives. 2. Republic: a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch. 3. Thailand is non-aligned. I doubt it will fall on one side or another. 4. If sanctions worked, why is Russia able to fight a foreign war?
  14. Transferring money to a family member can be tricky as a bank will ask for a copy of that person's ID card. When told that country does not make ID cards mandatory, the banker asked, "Well how can anyone know he is who he says he is?" "He will tell them who he is," was met with puzzlement.
  15. This is really confusing as the Lese Majeste law only protects the king, queen, heir-apparent, heir-presumptive, or regent. I am not really interested but thought someone might know why non-monarchial personalities are included.
  16. Not ill enough for a prolonged hospital stay I guess.
  17. Getting the first likes on Tik Tok is such a dangerous game.
  18. This type of incident is not just confined to Thailand but are reported in developed countries too. From the US. According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), retained surgical bodies after a procedure is an issue for surgeons and hospitals. They estimate surgical instruments get left inside patients between 0.3 to 1.0 per 1,000 abdominal operations. https://goldenlawoffice.com/medical-malpractice/how-often-do-surgical-instruments-get-left-inside-patients/#:~:text=They estimate surgical instruments get,1.0 per 1%2C000 abdominal operations.
  19. If he hadn't been motionless I would be more disturbed.
  20. If the microphone for one is turned off while the other is speaking, will the open mic pick up background noise?I don't think Donnie will stop ranting.
  21. I hadn't realized having an anonymous social media account was somehow illegal. So much for ASEANnow members.
  22. Another outrageous action to shock innocent expats.
  23. I doubt he has much mortal authority as head of a church infamous for pedophile priests. Better to start with an atheist's idea called the three laws of robotics. Just exchange the word robot for AI. 1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3.A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
