Provide the district office with the original and keep an exact copy at home. The date should be the same on both.

To maintain Thailand's balanced and non-aligned position it should now issue a statement calling for Europe to stop providing arms to Israel. -
Steve Bannon's Conviction Upheld: Facing Prison Time
Purdey replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I have a horrible imagination, First day for Bannon in the prison showers he is welcomed by one of the Capitol insurrectionists. "Hey Bannon boy, yor sure do have a purty mouth." "Thank you. Please pass me the soap." "Hear it is boy. Gee, I dropped it. Will you look at that, there it is Mr. Bannon, near yor feet. Now why doncha bend over and pick it up like?" Brrrr. -
"For more than 30 years, the science has been crystal clear... "The popular idea of cutting our emissions in half in 10 years only gives us a 50% chance of staying below 1.5 degrees [Celsius], and the risk of setting off irreversible chain reactions beyond human control. Fifty percent may be acceptable to you. But those numbers do not include tipping points, most feedback loops, additional warming hidden by toxic air pollution or the aspects of equity and climate justice." Whoever said that is more intelligent than our leaders.

Always surprised how they set up a camera a good distance away but you never see tracks leading away from the spacecraft.

I was bored out of my mind in Pattaya
Purdey replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Must admit no one is mentioning hobbies to keep the mind and body active. Cycling to remain healthy. Photography, chess, snooker, an hour in the gym every day, learn a musical instrument - learn Thai! People who never saved money (live for today!?) surviving on meagre pensions and bored out of their heads. -
The police can access corruption because they deal with criminals. The younger ones think it is a career with medical and pension benefits. The older ones think it has more than a few additional benefits. I have met some very polite policemen and policewomen who didn't ask for anything and I didn't offer them anything. It is really just a system that has continued for a very long time and is hard to stop without controlling the top echelons with asset checks followed by imprisonment.

Not sure that carbon taxes will help lower carbon emissions as it is a tax that allows organizations to produce carbon as long they pay the protection money, sorry, tax requested (we gonna make-a you an offer you can't-a refuse). Same for carbon credits, "I want to continue to pollute, what should I do?" "Psst, I got some carbon credits you can buy and you will be able to continue to pollute." How about lower tax on the purchase of carbon scrubbers and tax reimbursements for those who cut their carbon pollution?

Trump's Appeal Hearing on Fani Willis Set for October

If the cases are delayed and he loses the presidency run-off, those cases could hardly be dropped, which is something he must be very afraid of. If he wins, he will pardon himself. But should he commit more offences while in office, will this mean he will continue issuing himself pardons (he could otherwise be impeached) or just write a big, beautiful blanket pardon at the end (if he doesn't declare himself president-for-life)? -
Thailand aims to be global hub for skilled foreign workers

Let's avoid mentioning the possibility of raising the educational level of Thais. God forbid they could be given skills. -
German Tourist's Fatal Fall at Pattaya Hotel Shocks Visitors

As the world's defenestration hub, I wonder if the government has ever considered a law to force a safe minimum height for balcony railings to at least prevent accidental falls? -

Yes, credit is a drug from which consumers and governments cannot go cold turkey. -
Thailand to tax residents’ foreign income irrespective of remittance
Purdey replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Once they find the taxman stepping on the toes of Thais with money overseas this will probably be adjusted. Thaksin lived abroad for 17 years and must have money that was not taxed by Thailand. -
Indonesia seeks Thai help to capture fugitive drug lord

Not sure how the law works in Indonesia but I'm sure demanding the Thai police do anything in return for a criminal is not the best approach. -

No but it is necessary to read thoroughly and not just opine while knowing nothing. Republicans have done this before when interviewing Mark Zuckerberg and showing they had no clue about how social media works. https://www.cnet.com/news/politics/some-senators-in-congress-capitol-hill-just-dont-get-facebook-and-mark-zuckerberg/ Imagine how they sound discussing science.
