Law enforcement is a joke here full stop. My Thai uncle had to pay 20,000 baht for the police to arrest a man in our village who had committed several burglaries. Despite several villagers also joining the case. He spent 2 days in the local cells and was released. A truely corrupt and pathetic police force.
